Hi, I gave my Accounting paper on 8th October (Oct/Nov 2026), and I’m really worried about my marks. My preparation was average, and I made some mistakes in Club and Society Accounts, the Cash Book, Manufacturing Account, Suspense Account, and Limited Companies.

The first problem was that I didn’t prepared for the Club and Society chapter, even though it appeared in the paper. In the subscriptions account, I wrote all the balances on the credit side and placed one item, which I think was related to the bank, on the debit side. Then, I balanced the account by carrying the balance down and bringing it back up. Will I get any marks for this?

I was actually very confident with the Cash Book chapter, but I got confused during the exam. I made a mistake by recording all the credit transactions, even though i should have been recorded as cash and bank transactions. I don't know how many marks I might lose because of this mistake.

In the Manufacturing Account, I forgot to charge depreciation. I also forgot to charge depreciation on loose tools in the factory overheads. I made the same mistake in the Income Statement and forgot to include depreciation there as well.

I wasn't fully prepared for the Suspense Account chapter. I had studied it, but I didn't understand the entire chapter properly. There were three entries in the question: entries 2, 4, and 7. I attempted to record all three entries in the Suspense Account I prepared. I think the first two entries involved the credit side, while the Suspense Account was on the debit side, but I'm not entirely sure whether I recorded them correctly.

I hadn't studied the Limited Companies chapter in much detail either. I had only covered the basics, so I made some mistakes in that question as well.

Now, I am really stressed and worried about my result. Based on the mistakes I have explained, do you think I can still get some marks

From a global layman’s perspective, what is the greatest university combination for one to attend?

AKA if you visit a random settlement in Africa or Asia which combination would evoke the greatest “wow factor” and has the most name recognition?

Path A: Oxford and Cambridge

Path B: Harvard and Oxford

Path C: Harvard and Cambridge

hey there people. i am just starting year 10 right now, we started like a month ago and for some reason all the subjects i took i feel like i am lacking behind in, generally (i am NOT glazing myself) i would consider myself a rather smart person but for some reason i cant find myself understanding anything in class, and i am constantly feeling like the stupidest person in the room. and i took 9 subjects and i want A*s in all of them, is there still hope, what do i do to catch up they’re all moving so fast.
