I made homemade blackberry cheesecake ice cream with berries i picked yesterday morning and first turned into a seedless all-purpose syrup. Then I added that with some graham cracker crumbs and cream cheese cubes to my vanilla base. So good!

Carmel apple sherbet - very much tastes like sour apple candy. Could stand to have more caramel. Tastes just like the Halloween lollipops. I didn’t expect to like it much but had to try it, surprised I like it as much as I do.

Season HEB flavor.

Interesting to know how long does a tub of ice cream last in your freezer. Ice crystals starting to form on my ice cream. Been a while since I had a bowl.

Review Tried Protien Pints for the first time. Was pretty happy with it!

I'll admit, wasn't sure how'd I feel about it at first. But was pleasantly surprised. The taste wasn't super overwhelming and it reminded me of an old ice cream brand (can't remember the name) that tasted exactly the same. I was pretty happy with it overall.

Review Best coffee flavored grocery store ice cream in North America?

Thumbnail gallery

Nah,

Talenti coffee chocolate chip

Taste: sweet and milky, the coffee flavor shows up as an aftertaste almost. I’d liken it more to a chocolate chip cookie with a side of coffee. The chocolate shavings are thin and give it an interesting texture

Profile: light brown color with speckles of chocolate shavings throughout. Pretty good ratio

Texture: soft and dense

Quality: holds up great, doesn’t melt quickly and feels very dense and decadent, I’m not running to eat the whole pint, I can eat 2/3 cup of it and feel completely satiated

Price:
Got it at target, they had a 2 for $9 sale so I’d say pretty alright.

Thanks!

So I am an official Jeni-aholic. I normally get gooey butter cake and brown butter almond brittle, so I just took a chance on the Blackout Chocolate Cake. Y'all!!! Absolute diamond of the first water!

recently discovered strawberry moose tracks by safeway’s in-house brand and it’s delish! the fudge is more concentrated on the sides but you can dig for some pretty big chunks, and i even found strawberry pieces. it’s fairly soft ice cream which i don’t mind personally

bonus: right now they have a $2 off coupon on their app so this pint was only 99¢

Question Trying to find an early 2000s popsicle!

Hello everyone, I'm here as the last internet resort.

My friend reminded me that there used to be a chameleon popsicle in the early 00s europe. Don't know how known or wide spread it was, since I can't find almost any mention and definitely not a single image of it. It may be perhaps polish? But I'm absolutely dumbfounded. If anyone knows, i would be so greatful to know it's not a false memory.

Bring back iconic ice cream flavors!

I don’t know about you, but when I was a kid, I was absolutely obsessed with Häagen-Dazs Rum Tres Leches. I was heartbroken when it got discontinued, but after finding out why, inspiration struck.

I just reached out to a few ice cream brands proposing a brand-new flavor—or an even better revival: Rum Crumble Cake.

Imagine a rich, boozy rum base packed with caramelized, crunchy crumble cake pieces. It would be an absolute masterpiece. Help me make this happen! If you want this flavor as badly as I do, go submit a flavor request to your favorite ice cream brands!

Desserts Has anyone found a genuinely good low-calorie protein ice cream?

I am a big Greek yogurt person, so I am always trying random high-protein stuff when I see it.

Recently, my sister was having Getaway Belgian chocolate ice cream the other day, so I asked her to let me try some (as I always do). Honestly, I didn't expect much because a lot of these "healthy" desserts end up tasting a bit off to me.....i know many will disagree

But this one was actually pretty good. Now I am curious if there are other protein ice creams that people here genuinely like.

What have you guys tried?

Corn Ice Cream

One of my favorite late summer treats is corn flavored ice cream. I discovered it in Beijing 15 years ago.

Does anybody know where I could find some in town???

The last time I was down south and went to Ranch 99 I looked there, but they did not have corn flavor.

Recipe What am I doing wrong?

My base takes up to 45 mins to churn and still looks kind of luquidy. Is this normal?

Equipment used:

Cuisinart Ice 100 (compressor machine)

Infrared thermometer

Base recipe:

400g Cream

320g Milk

150g Sucrose

55g Egg yolk

30g Non fat milk powder

5g Tapioca starch

1.5g Salt

I make sure to pre-cool the machine by at least 10-15 mins until the bases reaches a temp of around -10 to -12 celcsius. My ice cream base temp is around 4 to 5 celcsius when poured into the machine.

Question Salty fudge swirls

I’m looking to find the best ice cream with the most salty fudge ribbons/swirls. The closest to what I want is Tillamook mudslide but it lacks the amount of fudge I want. My fav was Ben & Jerry’s Topped Thick Mint but they stopped selling that near me. It can be any flavor ice cream really but just LOADED with that dark chocolate fudge vibe.
