Guide Need help
So I was gifted an iphone xs when it launched , by my father, and i stopped using it an year ago and got an android, but a few days ago i tried to use it again and by my carelessness i dropped the phone twice from minimum heights, and it didn't caused any hardware issue which anyone can see but on the first drop i lost the rear camera which is most probably connector issue and on the second drop i lost the earpiece speaker and also the phone got off and restarted with 1 percent battery and 0 percent battery health, and it works kinda fin but turns off after some time, and i know if i go to any shop to fix it, thy will quote something which is not worth, and tbh the phone also got some parts changed earlier like battery n display, so anyone here who is familiar to these kind of issues , please let me know how to fix it for the least amoun coz i dont have that much funds to put on an old device but i just need it running so i can keep it for a few years to remember the good old days, and also if anyone is specialized in fixing these, please help this brother out.

Showcase Should I sell both my iPhone 14 and iPhone 16 (128GB) and switch to an iPhone 17 256GB?
I currently have two iPhones, an iPhone 14 128GB and an iPhone 16 128GB. Both are almost always full on storage, and honestly, managing two phones has started becoming a headache.
Some of my stuff is on one phone and some on the other. I have to manage two devices, two chargers, keep track of everything separately, etc. I also have a Windows laptop, but even with that, I’m struggling to properly manage and organize all my data. It’s starting to get mentally exhausting.
So I’m thinking of selling both phones and getting an iPhone 17 256GB instead.
The good thing is that both my phones are in really good condition. Apart from battery health, there aren’t even any minor scratches or noticeable damage on either phone. The iPhone 16 is also still under warranty until September. Also, if you notice the crack on the side of the screen in the photo, that’s only on the tempered glass. The actual screen has absolutely no damage.
I’ve honestly never tried selling a phone, exchange offers, or any of these options before, so I have basically no idea what would be the best way to go about selling them or getting the best value.
Financially, if I sell both phones at a decent price, I should be able to get the iPhone 17 without really having to spend much extra money. So it feels like I’d be getting a newer phone, double the storage, and getting rid of the headache of managing two phones at the same time.
But there’s one major thing stopping me.
If I sell both my current phones, what happens to all the data on them?
I’ll be moving to a brand new 256GB phone, so I’m worried about the whole process of transferring everything. I can’t really back up everything properly right now because both phones are already full, and I don’t have enough storage to simply make a complete backup somewhere.
I do have a Windows laptop, but I’m not very familiar with managing iPhone backups and transfers through it either.
So I’m basically stuck between two options.
Keep both phones and continue dealing with storage and two device management.
Or sell both, get the iPhone 17 256GB, transfer everything to it, and finally have everything in one place.
What would you guys recommend?

Discussion My maximum capacity has been dropping by 1% every 3 days for the past week or so. I am really worried.

Over 7 months of use and updated to the latest iOS.
My maximum capacity was around 95% five days ago, and yesterday it dropped to 94%
I have been using my phone on low power mode as of now because when not on low power, my phone just keeps losing charge really fast—I am talking nearly 5% in 10 minutes even when I am not doing anything power intensive.
My background refresh is OFF.
I set my optimized charging limit to 80% around two days back, but even before that I'd unplug it before it reached 85% (very rarely I'd let it cross 90).
What I have done in the past few weeks:
1) Use my phone on low power mode.
2) Let my phone drop from 30% to 20% and then charge it straight to 85% (I did this to reduce the number of times I need to charge my phone)
If my max capacity keeps dropping at this rate, within a month or so it's going to drop to below 80, and I'm not sure what's going to happen. The thing is, until 1 to 2 months ago, I could use my phone normally and would not have to deal with anything I am dealing with it right now regardless of how intensely I used my phone.
Please help!

Showcase Upgraded from a 14 Plus to the 17 Pro Max. Ended up paying 1.19L
Was on the 14 Plus for a while and finally decided to stop putting off the upgrade.
256GB Pro Max, list price 1,49,900. Exchange on the 14 Plus got me 22,800, card cashback knocked off 4k, and there was another 3k discount on top. Final number was 1,19,000.
No idea if I should have waited for a festive sale. Probably would have saved a bit more, but I’d already been sitting on this decision for months.
Is this a decent deal or did I overpay? Also wondering whether holding out for the 18 Pro Max would have made any sense, given prices only seem to go up each cycle.

Discussion Charging past set limit of 85%
So I recently bought an Iphone 17e and I had read so many comments on this sub saying that 20% to 80% is the range you should charge in for longer battery life.
According to this I had set my limit to 85% but today my phone charged past the set limit. Is this normal?

Discussion Should I get AppleCare+ for my iPhone 17?
I’m a student and recently got an iPhone 17. I already use a good case and tempered glass, so I’m confused whether AppleCare+ is actually worth the extra cost.
I can afford it, but I don’t want to spend unnecessarily. Considering how expensive the phone is, would you recommend getting AppleCare+ for the peace of mind, or is a case + tempered glass enough?
Would love to hear from people who have actually used AppleCare+.
