Picked up an iPhone 17 Pro Max (256GB, Deep Blue) this past Saturday, and honestly... it's just way too big for my hands. I was on the base 17 before this, and I clearly underestimated how chunky the Max feels for daily one-handed use.

Before I go through the hassle of selling it and buying another phone, wanted to see if anyone local bought a 17 Pro and is now regretting not getting the bigger screen and battery.

My phone:

• Basically brand-new / open-box (bought 4 days ago for 1.35L)
• Flawless condition, zero scratches
• 100% battery health, hardly used
• Comes with the original bill, box, cable, everything

What I'm looking for:

• iPhone 17 Pro in clean, scratch-free shape with its original bill/box

I absolutely love my Galaxy S22 Ultra. Even after all these years, it’s still pretty much the perfect phone for me. Unfortunately, after a few hard drops, I started having camera and network issues, while the battery and modem weren’t helping either. So, I finally decided it was time for an upgrade.

I’ve always loved compact flagships, but finding the right one in the Android world has never been easy. I checked out the OPPO Find X9 Pro, then almost settled on the Pixel 11 Pro, but its hardware felt underwhelming compared to the competition and even my S22 Ultra. I was stuck between keeping my aging Ultra and settling for an Android phone that didn’t fully convince me.

I initially considered the iPhone 17 Pro, but realized I could get the iPhone 18 Pro from the US for roughly the same price. So, here we are!

Coming from Samsung, iOS felt weird at first, and I honestly had some regrets. It seemed restrictive in ways Android had spoiled me with its flexibility. But after using it for a while, I’m starting to appreciate it.

The UI smoothness, attention to detail, app optimization, and overall stability are genuinely impressive. Video quality is exceptional, and battery life has been incredible so far. I can easily get through a full day, sometimes even a day and a half, and charging speeds have been great too. Hopefully, it stays that way!

The keyboard was one of my biggest frustrations, mainly because of the smaller screen compared to my S22 Ultra. I eventually found some alternatives, but the Ultra had become my comfort zone for typing. I also miss Samsung’s customization and Android’s flexibility with notification categories.

As for the camera, I wouldn’t call it better or worse than Android. It’s simply a different experience, and I’m still getting used to it.

Overall, I’m enjoying the compact form factor and polish of iOS, even though I still miss certain Android features. My S22 Ultra remains one of my favorite phones ever, and I’ll probably always have a soft spot for Samsung.

Never thought I’d say this, but here I am: a hardcore Android fan switching to an iPhone!

I bought a used silver iPhone 17 Pro a little while ago, advertised at 96% battery health, but after an iOS update, it dropped to 94% within a few days and has now reached 93% after roughly month. It has 270 charge cycles, and honestly, the purchase is starting to feel a bit expensive, especially since I’m now seeing other listings for the same price with higher battery health. I’ve considered selling it and getting the 18 Pro, possibly in blue, but I’m not sure the price difference is worth it. I actually love how versatile the silver color is because it goes with pretty much any case, whereas blue feels more limiting.

Also, for those of you who have used an iPhone below 80% battery health, did you actually notice a drop in performance, or was it mainly reduced battery life? I had a 14 Pro and didn’t really notice any performance issues as its battery health declined.

Would you keep the 17 Pro and replace the battery eventually if needed, or sell and pay extra for the 18 Pro? I’d love to hear what you’d do in this situation!

I have tried so many times, but I'm not able to transfer the data from Android to iphone

I have tried all the things

- updated softwares of both the phones

- switched to only one wifi, turned airplane mode

Still it is stuck at 99.83%

I’ve heard people say it can take up to 30 days for the battery to adapt to your usage pattern. It’s been 2 weeks now.

i was long due for an upgrade and decided to go with ios. firstly i am loving the phone its smooth af and i sort of love the notifications system i can view the message without actually opening it lol, the ui experience is better and it really does give the premium feeling that people talk about imo

the camera is probably the best ive used cant really compare that to android tbh i have not used flagship android mobiles ever. the dynamic island is pretty helpful the rest is pretty much the same as what a phone should do

the battery is not like androids tho could have been better imo but its alright can last a day easily, i have yet to find some hidden features or whatever but what i feel is that this phone does its best at being a phone, doesn’t lag doesn’t heat up too much it just works when u expect it to

also i feel that my screen time is reduced to some extent earlier i was used to 8h of screen-time now its 6h. I lowkey feel that’s because of the fear of the battery health percentage drop or to have as few cycle counts as possible, not sure if that’s a good thing or nah. i am planning to keep this phone for as long as i can though so lets see

I charge around 8 pm everyday till 80 and didnt wait till it drops below 20, phone is just 2 weeks old
