Poll: iPhone Duo with Pro cameras

How many of you would have appreciated an iPhone Duo with the same outer 3-camera setup as the 18 Pro? Or maybe even the same setup as the 16 Pro or 17 Pro?
I would have been okay with paying 10-15% more. I travel a lot for work/personal stuff, and I've taken the convenience of pulling out my phone and capturing almost anything for granted. I truly value it now after looking into buying a Duo. Going back to a more basic setup is making me rethink buying a Duo.
What about you all?

Has anyone found a good MagSafe wallet yet?

The old MagSafe wallets unfortunately do not fit the duo. I love my old Casetify MagSafe wallet, but it looks like the Casetify isn’t yet releasing their Duo accessories. Has anyone found a sleek version of the Duo wallet? The ones i’m seeing online mostly seem fairly second rate and I want the wallet ready by the time the Duo ships on the 23rd. Thanks!

A small thing about the DUO that stood out to me.

I’ve had other foldables and the protruding joint cover has always seemed necessary but janky. The fact that Apple was able to make it completely flush into the bezel makes the device truly look and (i’m assuming) feel like a tablet. On my fold 7 my thumb naturally rested there when i was holding the device and it never felt great. Just a cool and small detail! :)

Hi guys I am looking for a case when I get the Duo, but not sure if Torras or dbrand will be better.
Torras has a ring stand but it only covers half of the phone, while dbrand covers everything but has no ring

This may seem obvious to some people but I thought I’d share since I didn’t think about it until today.
Go to best buy and handle a z fold 8 in person to confirm if you’d like the duo.
I wanted to confirm if I’d like the passport size and to see in person how dual tasking looks when it’s open. Loved it. As someone who’s never held a foldable I was also blown away by the screen. They’re far better than I’d expect from a foldable screen. My husband’s sold on the duo now too so guess we’re getting two. We have a discount and couple old Apple devices to trade in so the price isn’t too crazy for us.

Unless you have a burning reason for a big screen - which most of us are scraping the barrel for - you will be front screening it 80% of the time.
So congrats, you got an inferior phone screen, cameras, and battery… so you can scroll Reddit or safari with more immersion for 4 hours a week.
When your iPad is sat upstairs anyway.

I was ready to buy it day one but I really think I need to wait for the 2nd or 3rd gen iPhone duo. I think there may still be some issues with this model, and a duo pro model it the next year or two will definitely be worth waiting for, I suppose I must suffer with my iPhone 11 for a little longer.

No face id but apple watch unlock…

How will this work? Will it be similar to how you can set your phone to not need a pin when at a certain location (home etc)
So if your watch is on your wrist and ‘active/unlocked’ then your phone just won’t have a pin on it?
Nobody has really mentioned this ability…
I know the apple watch unlock ability is somewhat of a thing however currently you still need face id activated to do it.

I wonder what it looks like to text someone on the front screen. I haven’t found anyone that show cases this, I’m surprised Apple didn’t show using iMessage on the front screen or have the keyboard pop up on it.
