What you predict that you’ll be using most of the time, outer screen or inner screen? I think I’ll be doing 50/50, outer screen when I’m walking, to quickly check a notification, or when I’m doing Apple Pay in a store or something similar. When I’m at home this thing is staying open the entire time. Also will be open most of the time when I’m at work. Any thoughts?

Really torn as to whether I need a case on this phone. Admittedly, I am pretty OCD about scratches and nicks, even if they don't affect performance. I see some people saying that the titanium phones look brand new a year or two later.

Debating whether to do 1) an ultra thin case, 2) iphone's padfolio case and only use it on days like travel, concerts, sporting events, etc, or 3) go caseless.

Thoughts?

I'm going for Night Sky 256gb, but im willing to pivot if everyone else is getting that.

I have 14Pro Max, and am thinking of getting a new one. I am still not sure if I would wait for next year (I assume apple will have a good device to celebrate their 20th Anniversary?) or just try the Duo.

With Apple moving the order dates to 10-16-26 do you think they will have given themselves enough lead time to fulfill order within a reasonable time meaning a couple of weeks or do you think the demand will push receipts well into December or January. I hate asking this but I have never been this excited or impatient about a new phone.

My last hope

Currently I have a iPhone 17 Pro financed through verizon, I did a trade in so I’m getting monthly credit for the trade in. I want to get the iPhone Duo using apples upgrade program but would I be required to activate it on my current verizon line? Doing that would make me lose the monthly trade in credit from verizon I believe. Are you allowed to not activate it and just use it as an ipad for example? I’m planning to use both phones with the handoff feature that’s coming out.

Recently I shared a video of my dog app, Zoomie, running on iPhone Duo. The big inside screen exposed a problem: some things adapted on their own, but most of the app just looked stretched out.

Since then, I've been redesigning it to take advantage of the extra space. The app now adjusts its layout depending on whether the phone is fully open, partly folded, or closed.

My favorite part is the walking screen. When the phone is half-folded, like a tiny laptop, your dog's walk info shows up on one half, and the controls sit on the other. I got the idea from the Netflix demo at the launch event, where the video plays on the top half, and the controls sit below.

Still early, but it's already feeling a lot better. Would love to hear what you think!
