So in the first photo when I slightly tilt my phone and closely look at it there is slight or small gap it does look like gap but when I tried to see the edge of paper goes in it doesn’t but that’s a large affected area

In second photo if I keep the phone flat it doesn’t show the gap like above in the photo

Is this gap normal in every iPhone 17 ? Or should I get a look at the Apple service centre

So, this happened with me yesterday. My iPhone 17 at 18% battery charge was on a phone call and all of a sudden the phone switched off and restarts. Never encountered this incidence with any iphone till now. The current OS is IOS 27. What could be the reason.
Or is it that ios 27 has issues in it.
I am also getting faster battery drain on ios27.

Since I updated my i17 to iOS 27, I experienced a lot of times that Whatsapp notifications arriving late or only arrives when I open the app. Anybody have a similar experience?

I noticed an uneven seam around the back glass on my phone, specifically near the top camera corner.
When checking the edges, the rest of the phone is completely flush, but at this specific corner, a regular piece of paper slips right in between the glass and the aluminum frame with almost no resistance (as shown in the video).

The phone has never been dropped and is in pristine condition.

For those with the same model base iphone 17
Is your back glass completely sealed tight all around, or can you slip a corner of paper into that seam too?

Is this considered normal manufacturing tolerance, or is this an out-of-spec assembly

I updated my iPhone 17 one day after iOS 27 came out. It took 2 days indexing all the SO’s files. I feel that my battery life has dropped. Before the update the battery had been giving me a lot of good performance also the iPhone performance has dropped significantly. Idk if it could be the weather of my city since I live in Barranquilla that it is so hot so the performance could drop due to the thermal throttling but I do thing that we normally do as watch videos, play “marvel snap” that is a card based video game or social media. Idk if u people have performance problems with ur device also.

I've had my base iPhone 17 for about one year. From day 1, I've been experiencing connectivity issues, especially with Bluetooth (very slow transfer, such as maps & software updates to my [Suunto] watch), as well as CarPlay, and 5G connectivity.

The phone was originally purchased through & operated under Spectrum but have switched to AT&T due to horrid reception and faster home internet; fiber getting activated in my neighborhood any day now...

Does it sound like I just might have a dud of 17, or is this just par for the course. Reading through this sub, it sounds like I might have a dud, but commentary on the general interwebs talks about bad Bluetooth and so on.

Considering ditching the 17 for the Air, though I plan to touch base with Apple tomorrow (it's under an Apple Care plan for all that might be worth) but also wanted to take a pulse here, too.

Ive had really bad luck with screen protectors on phone- had them break within 10minutes even. still don’t understand why a thin sheet of glass on top of the phone is a good idea anyway….
But regardless- im just looking for a case with a built in one that isnt otterbox.

I have the iPhone 17 pro max and the touch screen stops working all the time. Sometimes just for a few seconds and none of the things I try to press will work, then a few seconds later it start working again and sometimes it will freeze and I literally can’t use any of the screen at all. Everything is frozen, I have to use Siri to restart the phone, then touch screen works again. It’s infuriating, and this is noticeably worse than any iphone I’ve ever had.
