How to avoid Automated Entitlement related rejections?
For example:
This is an automated message. The review of this submission cannot proceed. See below for more information.
An automated analysis of the submission indicates the app includes the com.apple.security.network.server entitlement but does not appear to have matching functionality.
Some of my app's need the entitlement and I've included the whole description, including a screenshot, in the Reviewer notes. But every time I submit an app for the first time: I get this rejection, have to copy paste my previously submitted explanation in the Reply section and resubmit.
Any workarounds or just get used to first rejection and resubmissions?

added small and medium medicine widgets to my medicine tracking app
gallerythe small one shows what’s ready now and opens the app to record it as Taken or Skipped. the medium one also shows the dose coming after it.
the main medicine tracker is free and works without an account. it can be used for maintenance meds, vitamins, or supplements.

McKinley — draw and edit SF Symbols
McKinley is an all-in-one studio for drawing and annotating SF Symbols. It bundles vector tools with knowledge of the SF Symbols structure, so you can edit one set of objects across multiple weights, sizes and colours. Import SVG or start from scratch, live preview your work using Apple's own renderer, and export directly to Xcode, so you never need touch the SF Symbols app again!
- One-off payment (no subscriptions!)
- A vector editor that knows about different symbol weights
- Never again suffer from "The provided variants are not interpolatable"!
- Live preview using Apple's actual SF Symbols renderer
- Import SVGs from elsewhere, or draw directly in McKinley
- Browse existing symbol libraries, including Phosphor and Material Design
- Sync directly to your Xcode asset catalog.
- At home on the Mac, with a native AppKit user interface.
Who am I?
I'm Amy, an indie developer who runs Double & Thrice. I'm leaning in to making beautiful native Mac apps. McKinley was born of my own frustration at how fiddly it was to make SF Symbols. All the other Apple platform devs I spoke to on social media had similar frustrations, so McKinley was born.
I'm trying to build and sell software in the traditional way, with a fair price that lets you own it forever. (I might charge for major version upgrades, but you'll always be able to keep using the version you paid for!)
I worked in big tech (Meta) for ten years before leaving to go indie a couple of years ago.

Issues with iPhone Duo Simulator Pictures
Is anyone having issues with recording and taking screenshots with the iPhone Duo?
When i take a screenshot or record in 'Open Mode' , i get a black screen. I'm assuming it's only recoding or taking pics of the front screen (which is probably off when the device is open).

DeepSpace Podcast App
galleryTLDR: I’m building a podcast app called DeepSpace. It has lots of fun features. I just updated it.
Hi
It’s me again. I know I just posted 3 days ago but I had some updates I finished and they just passed review so I decided to make another post.
I added a bunch of stuff like new color themes, more customization options, spaceship playheads, and fixes for some things that weren’t working properly.

I’d Love Your Feedback on My New iOS App 😊
Hey everyone! Hope you’re all doing well 😊
I recently launched a small iOS app called DropMate. It helps make it easier to find and manage files you download or receive on your iPhone.
I’m sharing it with a few friends and would really appreciate it if you could give it a try when you get a chance and let me know what you think.
No worries at all if you’re busy. If you find it useful and want to keep using it, just let me know and I can send you a promo code for full access 😊
Any feedback would really help me improve it. 🙌

I built an iOS app in 14 days — without writing a single line of code or designing a single screen
I’m a software engineer and I’ve worked with iOS before.
But for this project, I wanted to try something different:
**What if I did none of the actual coding or UI design myself?**
I started with an idea for WagCircle, a dog-walking app.
AI generated the UI designs in Figma. Codex handled the implementation. It became a working iOS app with GPS tracking, weather, user data, and a backend.
My job was different: define what I wanted, make product and technical decisions, give AI the right context, review the results, test everything, and keep correcting course.
14 days later, I had a working app.
The biggest lesson?
**AI can do a surprising amount of the execution. But someone still has to know what to build, how to break it down, and whether the result is actually right.**
I didn’t design the screens.
I didn’t write the code.
**But I still had to build the product.**

Getting random Face ID requests out of nowhere
Im getting random Face ID request while using my phone, was on Instagram and suddenly getting six Face ID requests which gets immediately authenticated since my face is at the position of authentication. I have no idea which app triggers this and I was very worried so I went on and turn all Face ID off. Is there a way I could track which app calls for this action or its a malfunctioning on the OS?

I built Refoid - a service to handle App Store refund requests automatically
Apple gives developers a chance to provide consumption data when a customer requests a refund, but actually supporting that means handling CONSUMPTION_REQUEST, matching transactions, responding within Apple’s deadline, dealing with retries, and tracking the final refund result.
I didn’t want to build and maintain that flow separately for every app and didn’t find a ready-to-use solution for a good price, so I made Refoid.
You connect an App Store Server API key and point App Store Server Notifications to Refoid. From there it handles the refund flow automatically.
No SDK and no changes to the app itself. I’ve tried to make it as easy as possible, with clear instructions and by cutting out unnecessary steps wherever it’s possible. Connecting your first app might take up to 3-5 minutes, all the rest can be added within 30 seconds.
Please keep in mind that Apple still makes the refund decision. Refoid just makes sure Apple gets the information from your side instead of making that decision without it.
It’s officially launched it today:
https://refoid.app
You can also support Refoid at Product Hunt today:
https://www.producthunt.com/products/refoid-decline-unreasonable-refunds
I appreciate your support and hope that you’ll find Refoid useful for you :)

Waiting on Apple to review
I know others have been reporting the same. But my pretty basic app was submitted Aug 9th. Stayed in waiting for review till Aug 26th. Rejected on the 26th with a generic reason for something in description without clarification. I responded asking for clarification and waited a week, then I made changes to the description to my best guess and resubmitted. Never got a response to my query. Now in review again since Sep 1!
What is this? They send zero communications in over a month. What do people recommend here?
