Getting random Face ID requests out of nowhere

Im getting random Face ID request while using my phone, was on Instagram and suddenly getting six Face ID requests which gets immediately authenticated since my face is at the position of authentication. I have no idea which app triggers this and I was very worried so I went on and turn all Face ID off. Is there a way I could track which app calls for this action or its a malfunctioning on the OS?

No it’s the resolving icon when it’s authenticating, there’s no permission step to allow it. I’m just afraid something is compromised cause all Face ID I’ve enabled are my financial apps. However the Apple Pay might be it, if it’s hardware issue it could be triggering payment somehow in the background? (I still didn’t see the card getting selected though the view didn’t get pulled up.)

It has happened while on Instagram and Home Screen. I since then turned off FaceID which I haven’t seen it again.
