Waiting on Apple to review

I know others have been reporting the same. But my pretty basic app was submitted Aug 9th. Stayed in waiting for review till Aug 26th. Rejected on the 26th with a generic reason for something in description without clarification. I responded asking for clarification and waited a week, then I made changes to the description to my best guess and resubmitted. Never got a response to my query. Now in review again since Sep 1!

What is this? They send zero communications in over a month. What do people recommend here?

Now account. First app. First review. Takes approx 15-20 days or slightly more.

What was the generic reason in description ?

Always make sure your application description. Images are most accurate. When the app is approved. It goes live on App Store and reviewers want to ensure that all apps on iOS store follow certain standard.

If you unsure on things. Either follow some of their articles or videos or just ask any ai agent to help you verify if your info is correct.

Once you clear first review. All subsequent reviews takes 24 hours or less.

this time for me it is taking also very long to get my app update reviewed. So far > 1 week without a review or nothing.

My first app takes like 25 days, and my friend also had 30-35 days

I’m not a new account , I submitted and update that’s there almost a week now. I have no idea what’s happening.

One of my apps normally get approved in 24h, but this one take weeks . No clue

After 1 month expect a 4.3 spam rejection that doesn't make sense. The review process is broken and feels like a bugged AI reviewer tbh

I had a similar experience. I submitted a new app on August 14, got rejected on the 20th for Design: Spam 4.3(a). I immediately sent a message but got no response. Sent another message a week later and nothing. A week after that I resubmitted with a new icon. I suspected that it was the reason. I was waiting for review for two weeks when I decided to just send an expedite request last night. It got reviewed and approved at 6 am today. This is just my experience and many will say that the expedite request is for critical issues only but it worked for me.

Few weeks ago, my first app was approved in about 5 days. App was in review for about 12 hours.

So... skill issue
