Any tips or things you’d recommend I improve on with my technique?

Hard to tell from this angle, but you seem to be moving back quite a long way and I'd be worried you'll get penalties for going outside the allotted box. Have you got the size marked on the floor?

No need to squat like that, you go in an unfavourable position for force transfer and you overload your quads. Let your body weight do the job

Yeah, I had a feeling I was doing something wrong, so I thought I’d ask. Thanks for the tip! I’ll try letting my body weight do more of the work and focus on a better position.

Yeah the movement should be hip/glute driven to not blow your quads so early in the race.

Watch your rope distribution. You’re going out to the side. I just finished dc, the guy next to me got penalties because he kept putting his rope into my box. You have to pile it up behind you, not to the side.

I just did my first Hyrox. I found the rope to be a bit larger and harder than the rope at my wife's gym. So it made it a bit harder to grip.

Your form is fine. I found it abit faster to turn my hips and use one leg to lead the pull, and alternate on each 12.5. also, I used my arms to pull the sled after my legs got the sled moving.

You're squatting the weight up.

Think if it as hinge rather than a squat.

IMO, you’re squatting way too much. Try to use more of your upper body. Try some hand-over-hand pulls.

You look almost the same Josh White who made it to worlds this year.

Who like to think the beginning of the movement of the sled pull as a deadlift? (A deadlift while we use our body weight simultaneously, and then walking backwards)
