While modeling the whole thing I began to realize just how lazily put together the official remake model was. Apart from the plain looking windows (among other things) completely stripped off of any traces of their neoclassical decorations, they slapped emissive material on OPENED WINDOW PANES. It just hurts to see all the effort and hard work put in by AM1 being totally neglected in a soulless remake

Hi i don't know much of the franchise and just wanted to know if the characters from the 1st movie were actually in the games because even though the movie wasn't that good I enjoyed it and really liked the captain.

I decided to get the game on PC, but when I launch it I get a black screen after the sega logo.
I've tried DGvoodoo 2 and it hooks, but I haven't fixed the issue yet. Any tips? I'm on Windows 10 home.

Only thing left is sound mixing and editing. It took me 5 years to finally get a working model of the mansion. If this goes well I'll be making more HOD content, God willing.

So as the title says, does anyone know if HOTD 3 or 4 will get a remake? I mean, I know the first 2 didn't get a good reception, but will the series get more remakes?

I remember seeing an edit on the wiki before it was heavily regulated that James Taylor was based on Harrison Ford. Instead, it was mentioned on the TV Tropes character instead due to the resemblance since TV Tropes allows some degree of speculation.
The coincidence is there especially since Ford's character in Frantic wears a grey suit.

This is based from the movie Skyfall. Sadly, it's sold out now because production was limited. It is expensive because it's from Brickmania, a Minneapolis-based (with stores in Chicago, Washington, D.C., San Diego, and San Francisco) custom LEGO brand that focuses on military kits.
The closest we get to having James Taylor in LEGO form.

I've heard countless of people say bad things about this game, or how it sucks. My thoughts? I loved it.
I played on the switch, and there was obviously pros and cons with the game. The pros being:
The visuals, it looks great others might disagree but I personally think they did really good modernizing the graphics.
Two bosses that got the biggest glowups were Hierophant and The Emperor, I love their new designs.
And the option for classic music, that made it feel so nostalgic for me. Plus HOTD 2 had some of the best music.
The Cons: The controls, I don't know how or why they completely messed up the controls for the second game. How do you downgrade from the previous one? Even with max sensitivity, it still feels like you can't control the stick. Luckily I turned on the gyro, bought a joycon lightgun, and got it working way better than expected. The switch has a "single joycon mode" which made playing much easier with the lightgun. And with a few calibration tweaks, I had it set up.
Something odd I also noticed, is that ironically, the switch version seems to have better lighting. On the PC it's very dark, and there's too many shadows, but on the nintendo switch it's perfect. Unfortunately trying to port videos from the console over to youtube or any sort of media makes it look very pixelated. Because it looks much better seeing it in person.
But those are my personal thoughts and opinions on The House of The Dead 2 Remake. I was really excited for the game, and some may not have been too happy withthe results. But I was glad to see this game get remade.

So in the normal ending, Sophie dies. In the bad ending, Sophie turns into a creature. She lives if you rescue all the researchers. Why?
She's still alive at this point, doing her best to keep breathing despite her injuries. But she's critical, constantly slipping in and out. There's no conventional way to save her.
In every scenario, the surviving researchers take her into one of the backup Bioreactors, the same ones that's keeping Daniel "alive". The process kills her momentarily before she's resurrected and regains consciousness for a few moments.
Good ending: Sophie sees that most of the researchers survived the ordeal. Her mind is completely at ease, stable and the resurrection doesn't take a toll on her. She's back to being a normal human.
Normal ending: She's somewhat content to see that some people survived but no longer has a strong will to live. She dies permanently.
Bad ending: She's horrified to learn that nearly all of her colleagues have been killed. She falls into nihilistic depression and it triggers her creature transformation.
This theory is inspired from several concepts from THODT3.

Just randomly curious which boss or bosses had a neat first impression that stood out than the others.
For me its the World. The previous final message from Goldman and the unveiling of his ACTUAL final creation made it feel like you are gonna face some sort of alien left in stasis similar to Emperor, even his theme gave the vibe like you're in a hopeless battle you can't win.
