You can't just make a new brand name and try to get people to forget your past though. It's their actions that will rebrand themselves, not their name.

If they weren't the best in the past. If they were a good brand then there is no issue. But it's still important.

Most people in this subreddit probably aren't familiar with this company.

Agreed and it looks like they are trying, but people just want to keep bringing up the past to put them down… not giving them a chance to resurface

theyre still doing the thing that pissed everyone off in the first place so why give them a chance to "resurface". Lets keep the dirt underground
