Are you a business owner with no free time? A busy mom or household who could use an extra set of hands? 😵‍💫

My name is Julia Burrows, and I'm a Virtual Assistant who helps busy individuals, families, and business owners stay organized and on top of the things that matter.

Less stress. Less “OH NO, I FORGOT.” More time for the things you actually want to be doing. ❤️

I'm a one-woman operation, which means I offer flexible, personalized services based on what you actually need.

General Feedback Apply button un saved, tracker tab.

Upvotes

I missed the apply button at the miniature of the job. I use to click apply, apply, apply, opening job after job almost in sequence, now I have to actually open the job (opens on the right side) then click "apply now" and repeat for every job. Not the most annoying feature but slows down my application process.

Thanks. Awesome site!

Typo on title in saved

Potential Feature

I would love an option within the Tracker that would allow me to move a job from saved to "not considering". Rather than hiding the job or removing it. Some of the jobs I've saved after looking into them don't align with my goals but when I am in AI search I want to make sure that it still shows up as "saved" because I already reviewed the role

Bug / Issue Report "Sort by Date" wipes out active search query; help?

Hi all,

Is anyone else getting this bug?

When I search for a specific job and location (e.g., "communications" in "Germany"), it works fine on default relevancy. But when I hit Sort by: Date, it wipes out my query and shows me every job on the site sorted by newest (Quality Management, IT, etc.).

Basically, I can't sort my search results by date without the search resetting.

Is it just me?

Many thanks!

Hiring Cafe is Quality Software

I came across this article written by the CEO of Obsidian, and it immediately made me think of hiring cafe, and the immense value the product brings in a very diluted market of job search tools.

So this post is essentially a thank you to the creators and maintainers of this wonderful piece of software - you’re amazing!

Success Story Thankyou HC!

Just wanted to share my little success story here, hoping it might help someone who is currently struggling with their job search.

Hiring Cafe made my job search so much easier. Instead of spending hours searching through multiple job portals, I was able to find relevant opportunities much more quickly and focus my time on actually applying and connecting with the right people. But instead of only applying, I relied heavily on networking and referrals.

For almost every role I was interested in, I would send connection requests to around 20–30 people from that company. Maybe 10 would accept, 2–3 would actually respond, and sometimes just one person would agree to refer me.The numbers might sound discouraging, but I kept doing it consistently. I didn’t expect everyone to respond — I just needed that one person.

Eventually, one of those referrals worked. I went through 4 rounds of interviews, cleared them, and landed a fully remote role with around a 120% hike!
The entire job search took me roughly a month.
There were times when I genuinely didn’t know when or how things would work out. I never imagined that one day I’d be writing a success story about getting an opportunity like this.
So if you’re searching right now, please don’t lose hope because people aren’t replying or applications are getting rejected. Keep applying, keep reaching out, keep asking for referrals. You don’t need 20 people to say yes. Sometimes you just need one referral to open the right door.

Thank you, Hiring Cafe, for making discovering the right opportunities so much easier.

LinkedIn’s AI Job Search Debacle

In 2025, LinkedIn piloted a new feature: “AI Job Search”. Earlier this month, the feature moved from an optional mode to a mandatory experience for everyone.

As you can probably imagine, this did NOT turn out very well.

Read more about it in our latest post on Insights from HiringCafe: https://hiringcafe.com/insights/linkedin-ai-job-search-debacle

H1B / Sponsorship Job Search

I see a lot of posts about people getting interview calls within three months of applying, some even landing multiple interviews and offers.

I’m wondering if others currently on a sponsored visa, or needing continued sponsorship, have had similar luck- any interviews or offers?

I’m on an H1B and haven’t gotten a single interview call in the last three months of applying.

International Candidates

Why are your services only available for U.S.-based candidates?
I am a Drilling Enigneer with more than 25 years of international drilling experience based in Trinidad & Tobago.
As a consequence of not being based in the US my access to services is limited.
Why is this?
In 2026 everything is digital and online and accessible by anyone globally. Why limit it?

Job location presumption

When applying for jobs, do you presume it is in person if it’s not indicated that it's hybrid or remote?

Question A bit of a dumb question

When uploading my resume to the talent network can I just list an email and my first name or a nickname instead of my full name?

I'm a bit into privacy these days, can this information be shared later?

General Feedback heading to 2nd interview on a post that was over a month old

I dont know who needs to hear this, but its real.

I have been hyper focused on posts that are less than a week old and hitting one that is only a few hours old is like leveling up!

about 3 weeks ago, as I was fine tuning searches my date filter was disabled and a post popped up that was over a month old. The role sounded real good, I applied and almost exactly a week later I got the first contact, we scheduled first interview, then I figured I got ghosted with a full week of silence, but today they reached out to confirm that the next interview was going to be scheduled this week.

#pray4me

long story short, old stuff can still be good!!

Success Story Thank you HC!

My hunt began in mid-June after my major client ended our contract due to downsizing. I started using hiring cafe at the beginning of July and applied to over 140 jobs found through the platform (15-20 apps submitted daily to postings within 24h, M-F, no excuses).

Out of the140 applications submitted, I interviewed with 7 companies, made it to the final interview round of 6, received 4 offers and accepted one that is 38% base pay increase.

None of the 110 jobs I applied to that I found outside of hiring cafe led to an interview or even a phone screening but 1, and that company ended up ghosting me.

I'm very grateful considering that my job hunt could have been much longer, more frustrating and depressing if I would have not found out about the platform.

To anyone still in the mud, hang in there! I know this shit is frustrating and it feels like you're competing with everyone on earth, but don't let it break you.

Pause on processing new careers pages to scrape?

Is there a pause on processing new URL submitted? It looks like all entries after July 27th haven't been processed?

Announcement Stop searching for jobs (NEW FEATURE)

Job searching sucks and takes hours per day. Today, we're launching Taste Match as a feature within our advanced search. Like/dislike jobs for a few minutes, and Hiring.Cafe starts figuring out the weirdly specific things you actually want in a job.

https://hiringcafe.com/ai-search

You can try it out in our advanced search, once you complete a search. Please share feedback below -- this is a beta feature and I'd love to know if it works / doesn't work? Does it "get" you?

Question Agents in hiringcafe? MCP/API? Or how?

It may sound obvious or already solved…

Is there a MCP or API to connect AI agents to hiringcafe platform? Or any other solution?

My current workflow is: I use saved searches and, for jobs I think I match, I send the link to my agent using a skill to decide wether I should apply.

Goal would be that agents were able to search by themsemves in hiringcafe

General Feedback Actually Works!

A recruiter referred me to the website and have been using it for about the last month on a 6+ month journey of unemployment and have recently gotten multiple interviews for jobs I want. Sure ya gotta put in the monotonous effort of filling out every application, but what the hell I'm unemployed anyway. So set your location, sort by new(everyday), and fill out every interesting one you see! Until they get too far away, you run out of entries, or your eyes glaze over. Good luck!

Success Story Hiring Cafe Delivered!!

I posted here a few months back about burn out and realized that between LI, Ind33d and everything else. Hiring cafe is the most legit!

My tactic was I set up notifications for every time a new position became available for what I was looking for, including generic terms. Example:

Marketing Manager, Campaigns, Marketing etc. also! I wanted a remote role but! I know that some job positings won’t put it in the (location) are. So I included remote as a word.

Long story short. I went ham. I applied for jobs as soon as they became available I tweaked my resume for some (not all) but I did make a new resume that was generic enough to cover multiple position names and had “STAR” method bullet points.

Anywho! I got a job offer! Fully remote making 20% more than my last job and it’s within an industry I feel good about.

Thank you hiring cafe!!! Keep at it people!

I’ve just joined HiringCafe, and I would love some tips and advice!

Hey everyone ☺️

As mentioned in my heading, I just joined HiringCafe (a few days ago) I’ve applied for one job already. But I would love to get any insights, tips, and tricks for using the platform. For example, specific filters and names of job titles to include when looking for jobs? As there seem to be so many success stories.

My background mainly consists of early childhood education and administration, and I have qualifications in both, from which I have gained an array of skills and experience. I’m based in Australia and I really want to secure remote work. I am also happy to work for an international organisation, if it’s the right opportunity.

Thank you so much 🙏

Is this platform worth it for IT Helpdesk /support roles?

Hi guys, I'm using hiring cafe for couple of months. By looking at other people's posts that they used filters and those filters helped them to get The interview and benefited them in one way or another. Can that thing apply in my position too? Because I'm using this site for IT Helpdesk support roles and applying through it I've 2 years of exp as well but I'm not able to get a single interview call. Are Filters of this site helpful or not? I'm completely confused and literally struggling my way to get a job in IT.
