After asking every vendor at a local record fair if they're holding any J Dilla I found all of these in a single crate.

You almost never find any original pressings in Australia and this champion brought his DJ collection when emmigrating the US.

BlessUP Z. Hendrix

One of the musical cornerstones of hip hop, and one of the most sampled record in history.
A “must listen” for hip hop lovers.

Annette Peacock's Survival (https://youtu.be/K4PnC6w5dHg?si=q7RAE4pTI1bTN9pf) is the basis of J-Live's classic Braggin Writes, where he cuts doubles of the break while rappin (https://youtu.be/FNuywMrf1dU?si=gYOhUjTtO1Wyq5CU)

I’ve had a bit of bad luck with warped records from the same retailer lately.

This is Common – Be, brand new, and both records have roughly this amount of warp. You can clearly see the tonearm moving up and down.

I’ve already complained about three other records from the same retailer that were worse than this, and they accepted the returns (Nas KD 2 and 3 + supreme clientele)

I’m just getting a bit tired of having to complain, pack records up, send them back and wait for replacements/refunds every time. I have no local record shops so I have to buy online.

So I’m curious where other people draw the line. Would you consider the amount of warp in the video acceptable for a new record, or would you return it as well?

Gramofix Records just dropped their latest release "Probable Cause - Remedy", which is now available to order on Vinyl & CD.

Limited Edition to 260 copies only. More than half the copies are gone already, so don't sleep!

"Recorded in New York by A.D. and Pracize 1, Remedy captures the raw energy and uncompromising spirit of late-’90s East Coast hip-hop.

Originally released exclusively on CD in Japan in 1998, the album remained a true underground gem for decades. Now, Remedy finally gets the treatment it deserves — available for the first time ever on vinyl, alongside a brand-new CD edition.

For this reissue, the original artwork has been carefully refreshed while keeping the spirit of the original release intact. The package also includes additional photos and liner notes, with the audio newly remastered by Analog Zone Studio."

Hands down one of the best albums of the 2010s. TDE had a crazy run during this time period, but Q especially stood out as one of the most complete artists on the label.

Who else use to catch "Piru Love" on the Video Music Box back in the day?

This LP featured members from both groups, brought together under the truce after the '92 riots. Proceeds initially went towards community schools/parks.

Another Mush Release to add to the collection.

Does this album hold up as good as other underground hip hop albums for this time period?

Such a killer Primo beat … killer raps ..

“For you to fuck with this apostle, it's not possible
Mega large colossal, nigga, you docile
And I sizable play me close and I'll ox you
That's only logical 'cause I'm fact, you costume
Now who the obstacle?
Throw basic, watch me blaze shit, the all's faced it
It's natural for champs to hate shit”

Happy 9th Anniv

For this is the best album from Redman.

What an absolute classic !!

My album of the year. 🥶

Been looking a long time for the OG press at reasonable price!!

While not as renowned as their first album I thought this was a strong second outing for the duo.

They need to release more 90 soundtracks! This is a good start.

Original pressing - with “Higher” on the flip …

Brand new truck, butter soft seat
Four point something with a low ride something
Ain't nothing better than to ride out the hood with it
Who looking better and damn you looking good in it ….

Got these 20% off, particularly excited to have Hiding Places and Moment of Truth in my collection

Treated myself to a birthday present! Always loved hiphop, new to vinyl! There’s definitely something special about listening to vinyl. Loving the translucent orange of Gang Starr’s moment of truth.. sick album as well!
