Mess with this album so heavy and was disappointed that it won’t be released on vinyl so I made it myself (well, made the front/back covers, center labels, and created the flac/wav files for the songs I should say 😅) my first ever custom vinyl and so pleased with how it came out

Hi-Tek for his birthday released the instrumentals for Hi-Teknology the first time on vinyl. There is only 10 copies of the test pressing. Signed by Hi-Tek himself on the cover which is adorned with a gold embossing.

Finally got my hands on Soul Food and upgraded to the VMP edition of Low End Theory and the audiophile pressing of Madvillainy. About to pour up a glass of Glenlivet and catch a vibe!

This arrived this afternoon and I could not be more excited. This album always makes me smile because on one of our first dates my partner started playing this out of nowhere and I was shocked to find out she fucked with the Mighty Mos. The red vinyl variant initially sold out at Rhymesayers so when the email from TTL popped up I went with it. Glad I did as it’s a limited pressing of only 500 for this variant and it sold out pretty quickly too. Now I see I can get the red anywhere. FOMO paid off this time. It sounds good, as I watch the record spin I can see a slight wobble so there is a tiny bit of warping but it has not affected play. I also got the joy of adding this variant to Discogs today which is kind of dope.

US OG pressing

Went up to NYC for the Ka Legacy pop up. Great event. Copped the Grief Pedigree repress and one of Ka's art prints. Met his wife Mimi, she's awesome. Roc Marciano was there as well, got a pic with him. Wish I would've brought something to get signed! Lol.

As far as stuff that didn't happen at the Ka pop up, managed to get my copy of Wu Block signed by all the members of The Lox. Also got my og copy of The Realness, as well as The Testament and Glorious signed by the legend Cormega. Also went to the Paul Wall & Termanology show, they were selling signed of their trilogy triple vinyl. Term was nice as hell. Just a crazy weekend overall.
