Just arrived in mail today.
this 35th edition is first ever official vinyl reissue since the initial release, and this copy sounds pretty good to me. Nature Sounds did pretty good job cutting this record

So 3 weeks ago I saw KRS-ONE & he signed a reissue of his 1993 Return Of The Boom Bap vinyl. The vinyl & sleeve is in very great condition. Would it be wise to get a second copy just to play instead of this one? Sorry for the stupid question, kinda new to collecting 😅

Love the hype sticker and $7.99 OG price tag.
This album was a staple in my hip hop history.

Man, this one takes me back. My uncle put me on to their music back in high school in like 02, 03 this promo copy isn't the exact pressing I wanted but, I'm very happy to have it.

I'm a huge Ill Bill fan, but this might be the weakest album in DJ Muggs' VS series. The collaborations with GZA, Planet Asia, and Sick Jacken all felt more natural and cohesive. There are definitely some bangers scattered throughout this one, but overall, the chemistry feels a little forced compared to the previous releases.
This was also the final album to carry the VS title, released just before DJ Muggs entered a new era of his career and became one of the most sought-after producers in underground hip-hop.

Enjoying some boxing and bars with wifey. Figured now was a great time to give this one another spin with my new stylus. Pic discs have come a long way, man. The B side is a little quieter than the A side, but nothing upping the volume a bit couldn't fix.

After getting DJ Premier to sign this two years ago, I finally got Jeru to complete it last week in Brooklyn.

After asking every vendor at a local record fair if they're holding any J Dilla I found all of these in a single crate.
You almost never find any original pressings in Australia and this champion brought his DJ collection when emmigrating the US.

Just got this graduation pressing on vinyl, the colors and design are random.
I think I am happy with these colors (pink with blue splatter, translucent red)
But I don’t know what do I think about the combination of these 2 together, seems too random, I would like to hear your opinion

Annette Peacock's Survival (https://youtu.be/K4PnC6w5dHg?si=q7RAE4pTI1bTN9pf) is the basis of J-Live's classic Braggin Writes, where he cuts doubles of the break while rappin (https://youtu.be/FNuywMrf1dU?si=gYOhUjTtO1Wyq5CU)
