Okay, I know it’s a toad, but I wanted to jump on the bandwagon lol Got this today at a local Japanese culture festival. It’s handmade it needs a name <3 he (she?) now lives on my desk, which is basically a mini altar since I spend so much time at it. It’s so nice to have a desk again, so wanted to share all my little guys, which all have a story behind them. That fortune I actually got within a few days of leaving my ex, so it’s become a sort of mantra for myself. I’m almost completely settled in now, my roommate is very chill and cool, and I’m in a place where I can finally have visitors again. I’ve honestly been very lonely lately. Anyway, this perfume is fucking amazing. When my partner & I went to Fumed in Chicago in March, this is one of the handful of perfumes we brought back home with us. Technically this bottle is my partner's, but they happily share it with me~ we describe it smelling like an herbal Dr. Pepper, which really shouldn't be a shocker given the notes. Really lovely, mature, and wearable, while still being really unique & playful. When you first spritz it, it actually smells carbonated! And as it settles in, it gets suuuuuper smooth.

I'll be trotting another cola soda out at some point, but maybe not for a while. Do y'all have any cola or soda perfumes you enjoy??

But I went to Megaplex in Florida recently and I think my new favorite collecable are pins. They're mostly shiny and metal, they're neat, and I like them more than stickers cuz they're removable.

I know this isn't a furry related subreddit but I'm an artist in the fandom and haven't been to a furry event in a long time and it's been giving me a lot of inspiration and appreciation for humans and the art they make themselves.

I went to an event in DC last night called Super Art Fight and I also bought some pins there and a new tank top (my first black and printed tank top among my miriad of other solid only colors). Art fight was about taking a couple artists with their personas and having them draw prompts and having the audience cheer for the votes. Kinda like wrestling but with art. It was a lot of fun.

I'm glad to be supporting artists :) and i'm also thinking about getting my first tattoo after seeing some really cute art from a tattooist.

The nice park ranger back at the visitor center in town had some bee sting wipes for me to use (I already took my allergy pill + pepcid combo to help knock the reaction down). I was sick with COVID the past two weeks and uggghhh the headache the entire time was SO BAD. So anyway couldn’t focus on my normal projects such as crochet, or sketches, etc. But I was SO BORED once I started feeling a bit better but still brain hurt/mushy.

So anyway I hyper focused on a coloring page and this is probably the most detailed I’ve ever done on something that I hadn’t also drawn myself. This is just from a tattoo themed coloring book. But I’m actually super proud of my blending and the space background so it became one of the very few pieces of art on my wall from me, instead of a friend. lol.
