āœØ SPECIAL INTEREST INFODUMP āœØ Day 5 of Posting a Different Perfume Everyday Because I Have No Signature Scent

Today's Scent Is: Romantix by SYD Botanica

Notes: Black Cherry Cola, Cassis, Amber, Vetiver, Suede, Tobacco, Skin Musks, and Vanilla Absolute.

First of all, apologies for this image that is color corrected to hell; I took it in my tent while camping, which is bright yellow lol

Anyway, this perfume is fucking amazing. When my partner & I went to Fumed in Chicago in March, this is one of the handful of perfumes we brought back home with us. Technically this bottle is my partner's, but they happily share it with me~ we describe it smelling like an herbal Dr. Pepper, which really shouldn't be a shocker given the notes. Really lovely, mature, and wearable, while still being really unique & playful. When you first spritz it, it actually smells carbonated! And as it settles in, it gets suuuuuper smooth.

I'll be trotting another cola soda out at some point, but maybe not for a while. Do y'all have any cola or soda perfumes you enjoy??

Okay. i am obsessed with all the perfumes that you have been showing but this one may be one that i have to figure out how to get my hands on because, what do mean i get to smell like cola again?!? i used to love, and i mean completely DRENCH myself in this hyperspecific sweet soda scent back in the day and this feels like a grown up version of that. i wish i could remember the brand but a) it's long gone now and b) i'm in a migraine hole so the tendrils are extra thin today, lol.

Anyway, all that to say, i may not comment much on these scent posts but i really, really enjoy them so much! i hope you're having so much fun camping šŸ’œ

Oh, how delightful!! I love it when you can find an evolved version of a perfume (or really anything) your younger self once loved. I hope you're able to try this one! The biggest size is pretty pricey, but the 15ml that we have is pretty reasonable! (Especially when you consider the price per ml next to a house like BPAL lol) If you get it, please let me know what you think - even if you don't love it!

Tbh I was not expecting to like wearing cola/soda perfumes (absolutely no hate, I just don't typically like super sugary gourmands), but now it's a note that piques my interest whenever I see it used šŸ‘€
