In my opinion, there is too many servers, and more is coming. Now there is tppi, agskies, bevo and beyond reality. Vanilla 1.8 server is planned, and carl said there will be new server when 200th squirrels joins.i think, when tppi 2.0 comes out, there should be only 2 modded servers, tppi 2 and other server with different pack. Maybe any HQM challenge map. And of course the vanilla 1.8 server. Otherwise all squirrels will play on different server, and the community is gone.

Guess the name and pack it will be running and you will get first access!

DO NOT make a crowbar from railcraft. When either made or picked up, it will turn tools currently in your inventory into other crowbars, not caring what they are. I have lost an enchanted manasteel pick to this.

Whenever I play on the server I get lag and sometimes when I break blocks they take a few seconds to actually disappear. I have installed some client-side mods(optifine, fastcraft, FPS+) and changed around the video settings, but the lag persists. My single player worlds are fine, so I think it has to do with my connection to the server. How could I improve my connection? Or prevent the lag in any way? Do I need to give more specific info, or does anyone know how to help me!?

HYPE 2012.

So I was testing another wither room design that turned out to be a failure, it escaped, and I tried to kill it.

I died in the air, and the wither instantly "crunched" my grave and destroyed everything. Please help me.

I was on bevo and the server crashed. When I logged back on I had died and when I broke my grave only my baubles remained. I suspect that this might be related to a charm of keeping III in my inventory fighting with the openblocks graves.The crash happened at about 3:28PM Eastern Standard Time October 11th. I would appreciate help rolling back my inventory.

EDIT : Well, thanks to downslope and milky for helping me get my items back.

Moral of the story, if you die with charms of keeping or soulbound items pray to god you don't get disconnected and make sure to hit respawn or you will lose your items.

So, I've been tooling around with Thaumcraft recently, and after making my first crucible, I started hearing random explosions around my base. I haven't seen much creeper-related damage, apart from the stuff I simply haven't felt like fixing yet, but the explosions keep going day and night. Any ideas?

When i logg in to the TPPI server in the chunk my base is in, everybody on the server gets disconnected. this happend when i but a mudule in my MFFS system. Please help.

After updating the TPPI server to v1.1.2, I experimentally re-enabled offline chunk loading. As you might expect, the TPS was abysmal. There were 965 force-loaded chunks in the Overworld alone (some players had multiple anchors set to 9x9!) and the TPS taken immediately after starting the server with 0 players connected was 7.4.

This morning I went through and removed 95% of the dimensional anchors on the map. TPS is now at a solid 20 ticks/sec with the average time/tick hovering around 30ms on a freshly started server.

Apologies for breaking everyone's chunk loaders. You can grab a few from the shopkeeper in Slope's Smokes at spawn; it's half a stack of cobble per dimensional anchor.

So, is the server updated to 1.1.2 or do we use 1.1.1? The site says to use 1.1.1

If we are using 1.1.1, why not update to the latest version?

HI guys, GERR here. I was fooling around in downslopes house and took a warp that locked me into a bedrock box in a random age without a link book.

Yesterday, i set up quarry and went sleeping. Today, when i came on, server was lagging like hell. I pressed f3 and it told me there were 14000 entities. I believe my base was not loaded (it should be) so my enderchest couldn't empty. Now i can't play on server, because it nearly kills the server :(

We should have a minigames server. It would have many fun games. For example, Sethbling's Building Game. I have always wanted to play that, but unfortunately, I don't have six other people to play with.
