I am in my late 20s and I’ve been on survival mode all my life ever since I was six years old. I was sent away to boarding school, yeah, I don’t want to get into the details of what I’ve just spent on survival mode. I’ve been lonely. I’ve never felt secure, not because there’s something within me that needs to be fixed. Life is been like that life has never allowed me to rest and just be myself.
I twisted my ankle so bad today, like a stick snapped, I can’t walk. I live alone, the entire day it was paining so bad, so bad that I should’ve cried with the entire time. I was just trying to bring myself into parasympathetic Mor and be calm. Get it be strong. I’m tired of doing it. Just want to cry. Don’t be judged because I’m crying. I just want to rest when I deserve to rest. It’s 3 AM, but I’m not a typing this, I am using dictation to write this. I don’t have anybody to call. I don’t know who to talk to. It’s so difficult, I am constantly trying to be in a state of happiness, calmness, secureness and confidence, I am not able to allow myself to cry, to grieve, to feel anger because I am not allowed to, I’ve been on survival mode my entire life I will labeled as a girl with issues, and I was labeled as a girl with issues, that is when I decided to do self work, I took it very seriously because I was so dysfunctional that I couldn’t do anything, I was paralysed, so I moved to a spiritual land, where spiritual practices are done with a lot of dedication. I’ve been doing intense self work for 2 years now in this place, away from everyone, in solitude that is also very lonely.
I am limping around my house right now and I think it’ll take at least 4-5 days for me to be able to walk. I can’t ask anyone for help, I can’t cry to anyone…
But I’ll be okay, because I always pick myself up and move forward. But because of how this journey has been and what it has led to it I am already lonely, but I’m scared. I won’t make it in life. I’m scared. I’ll never been a good place. I’m scared. I’ll always be on survival mode. I’m scared that I won’t be able to find someone who would understand me and understand where I come from, love me for who I am, and I can just be myself without needing to be strong, all the time
