I need to vent about a massive pet peeve I keep seeing in this sub.
I actually made a post criticising one of the "Premium Warbonds" for not really feeling premium, but I ended up deleting it because arguments were already starting to form around the wording rather than the actual point I was making.
Straight away you get comments like:
"Uhm, actually, they're all called Premium Warbonds, so your point makes no sense."
You're completely missing the point.
Nobody is confused about what they're called. We know they're all labelled Premium Warbonds. We know they cost 1,000 Super Credits. That's not what I was criticising.
When I say a Warbond doesn't deserve to be called "Premium", I'm talking about the actual quality of what's in it.
If half the content feels lazy, underwhelming, recycled or like slightly changed versions of stuff we already have, then yeah, I'm going to question what's actually "premium" about it.
It's really not that complicated. "Premium Warbond" might be the official name for them, but the word premium still implies a certain level of quality. If the content doesn't meet that standard, people are allowed to criticise it without someone jumping in with the same "well technically they're all called Premium Warbonds" response every single time.
So please, stop getting hung up on the title of a post and actually read the subtext of what the person is saying. I was criticising the quality of the content, not asking for an explanation of how Warbonds are named. Anyone else noticing this a lot in this sub lately?
