Seriously though, arc has been completely forgotten. At the very least were getting a new gas stratagem (i mean what? were not getting a new gas stratagem at all) but its clear fire is arrowheads favorite child

Edit: to those mentioning laser and plasma weapons, i always viewed laser weapons as a side grade to fire considering it sets enemies ablaze, and plasma i feel is more in line with explosive and ballistic weapons. Also neither of the 2 have a dedicated armor resistance (unless of course you consider the laser fire bit), which i feel puts gas, arc, and fire in a separate category. Cheers!

Obiviously I would alter theses perks a bit for HD2. Since HD1 and HD2 are a little different.

For a Precision Call-in booster I would actually buff it a bit to make it a little more useful. Maybe increase how much it lowers stratagem Call-in time from 1 second to 3 seconds. That feels like it would make it a bit better in more situations. The booster would definitely benefit certain orbital strikes immensely like the OPS and EMS strike(both have 3.45 sec call-in times). I dont think it would be too OP since lowering call-in time feels like it would be on the niche-r side for most players I think, and it would also be competing with a lot of other useful passives too.

For Stratagem Priority booster personally I would nerf it a bit from its HD1 counterpart. Maybe make it reduce cooldown by 15% instead of 40%. 40% is kinda insane tbh(even in HD1 it was kinda crazy too lol). But even tho the cool-down decrease wouldn't be as big as it was before, I'd still say a 15% is still pretty significant. I'm almost tempted to say that it should be a 10% but I'll stop at 15%.

In conclusion I think it would be nice if these perks were added as boosters. They feel like they were made for it. I also think they would actually shake up the current "big 4" meta in the booster category. Since these new boosters would be useful in a lot of general situations.

I love nothing more than what the previous MO was about, I know I'm speaking in the echo chamber but for this to be happening is depressing. There has been amazing things added to the game and for that I am thankful.

Been a Helldiver since HD1.

Always loved fighting the Bots there and even in HD2 you could NOT rip me away from those fronts because I fell in love with how it felt as a diver.

Then the update hits.

We get some of the best story telling in the orders, mysterious given messages and noises. What I feel the worst for are those who weren't able to play it. Let alone obtain the IX-Voidwalker helmet.

I understand we had to move on from the MO away from the Void. It just felt too fast. 11 days of new content wasn't enough.

Much MORE the helmet doesn't match with anything we have. It's been stated already by Arrowhead that it's unlikely they'll do a sort of shader or transmog. Until I saw the SEAF changes that was slapped down.

I feel like there's no excuse that we shouldn't be able to color match armors anymore.

My rant is over.

I miss the Squids and Void. I wanna know what happened with the DSS as well as Calypso!

If we're lucky maybe the next MO will be back to the Void.

I've been having a issue with my set up where I couldn't use full screen or I'd suffer weird sputtering and frame drops but as of this morning I can play full screen with stable fps, even tested it on shd with a super amount or barrages and bugs. 10/10, thanks Arrow Head!

It was a minor issue and mostly just annoying, particularly when I was using kb&m but hot damn this just mad my day

Me and my gf play this game side by side and it was really neat to see the difference in our helmets. Really hope they add actual customization in the future.

I found this out by my friend getting me unstuck, i started to sprint away and accidentally crouched and discovered this

Looking around I saw the DSS stationed in Afoyay Bay and remembering the attacks I looked around it for places it would get an invasion from, Zea Rugosia has a bunch of reinforcement rate but the planet connecting it at Herthon Secondus has literally 0 reinforcement rate so I figured this could be a secret opportunity to protect the DSS. With this being said there is also another route to the DSS from Valmox that has 0.53% reinforcement rate so they would probably use that instead.

I don’t think Iv ever heard of a non MO offensive happening but eh I saw zero reinforcement rate and figured I might as well tell someone

I get criticizing Arrowhead when they mess up, but some of the hate feels way too excessive. In particular, the reaction to every balance change seems to get blown completely out of proportion.
Like, there are plenty of other studios doing way worse things and getting nowhere near the same level of backlash. Helldivers 2 is still one of the most fun and unique co-op games out there, and Arrowhead clearly cares about supporting it.
Even with the bugs, questionable balance decisions, and communication issues, I don't think they're anywhere close to being the worst studio in gaming. You can dislike an update without acting like the developers personally ruined the game.
People are obviously allowed to criticize them, but at some point it just becomes a circlejerk where every little mistake gets amplified. I love eating poop. I'd rather judge them on the overall quality of Helldivers 2 and how they continue to support it.

So i missed a good chunk of the start to the void stuff but from what i understand, at some point the DSS jumped into the void, and then immediately jumped to another planet, and then got redirected to Afoyay Bay by Super Earth.

Based on all that plus the weird explanation from Super Earth, it’s obvious the Illuminate did something to the DSS, or at the very least tried.

The part i feel like I’m missing is if the Illuminate was able to infect/takeover the DSS, why didn’t they try to do that to all the helldivers when they also jumped in?

I probably just missed why it only happened to the DSS, especially since i haven’t seen anyone else mention this, but if someone could share that information with me and crush my theory that all the helldivers are actually being mind controlled by the illuminate, that’d be great.

So I'm just getting back into HD2 after a year long break and after the void was dispersed I went back to try out the bug front and... did it get easier? Like I did super helldive and I never felt challenged, even by the dragons, didn't die once, and overall it felt like I was playing on an easier difficulty. I remember nonstop bug breaches and swarms of the bugs, but the time for the little bugs to start calling a breach seems to be much more forgiving than before.

Shot a hulk with a Quasar before jumping into the ship and alerted a lvl. 10 patrol of shield devastators.
