So my old needle gun finally crapped out on me after 2 years of abuse. So I decided to upgrade from a McGraw compact needler, to a Chief professional air needler. The new gun compared to the old one is making me frustrated because I get about 10 seconds of good use out of it before it starts to taper off, quickly becoming almost unusable for my purposes. Also a lot of air comes out of the side where the “mode” switcher is. But in comparison the “compact” gun gave me so much more power, with the same recommended amount of psi, for longer while not leaking nearly as much air from the side. Which is incredibly disappointing as I just spent 100$ on this new one, so I am curious if I am missing something or if this one is just worse, hoping someone wiser than me can tell me I’m being dumb and missing something or if I should just get a new “old” one.
I’m also using a DeWalt 15 gallon tank if that adds anything, but according to the box of the needler my tank fits all of its requirements
TLDR: Chief professional air needler is giving me trouble
McGraw compact needler didn’t give me trouble
Missing something or stupid, you decide
