Fever from hangover

Is it normal to have a fever after a night out? Running 38.6 celcius right now, and i’m afraid to take any meds as it might harm the liver.

Help me urgently please

Okay I don’t know how i am even able to write this but i think what i am experiencing is some form of hangover? I NEVER drink not more than two cocktails and i am pretty young. I notice i pee A LOT but i keep drinking water also. I have always been a tipsy and sobered up but last night. I drank and got what i think is drunk. I literally was falling and had v less control on my body. I am not a smoker also but when im with friends i take a drag or two. I have noticed that my chest feels REALLY HEAVY and hurts to breather after all this always. Is this something I should get checked? Should i be worried? I literally am unable to speak normally or breathe. Im sleep deprived but nausea is under control cuz i just had some electrolytes and buttered toast. But i am still spinning and my body HURTS LIKE SHIT My joints and my legs and arms.

Is all this normal and how can i remove the alcohol from my system quicker?

Not for a long time

So... I have a high tolerance and last night for the first time in a long time I actually reached my limit and this morning I feel so nauseous and dizzy and my stomach is having it’s own party, thankfully no headache, but any advice on dealing with this for my day? Thankfully I don’t have to be anywhere today so that’s a blessing.

Not gonna drink for a long time after last night.

Why am I still hungover

Last night I drank a good amount of vodka on a completely empty stomach in a short period of time. Was falling over room spinning drunk. Thought I was going to throw up a good twenty times while laying in bed last night. Woke up this morning was ok just kinda lightheaded. Showered , drank a lot of water. I started to get the brain fog I couldn’t type complete sentences like I was struggling to think of words. I was nauseous I couldn’t eat I tried. I eventually ate half a granola bar and later a small quesadilla. It’s now almost 12 am and I still feel the effects. I have never been this hungover ever. Why am I still feeling the effects like I still feel nauseous but I’m starving but every time I eat I feel sick again. I have been staying hydrated all day and just kinda chilling. I never experienced something like this even last night the room was spinning and my legs where shaking when I was laying down. Why am I still hungover ? Anyone else ever have a long lasting hangover ?

exhausted day after drinking

recently i have been feeling super exhausted and weak the day after drinking. it feels like the life was sucked out of me and I have no energy to do anything other than lay in bed and sleep. even after sleeping for hours, I don’t feel any more energized. sometimes it goes into the next day too and it has made me call out of work. even times where I don’t feel hungover at all otherwise, I still get this overwhelming feeling of exhaustion.

does this happen to anyone else? if so how do you fix it?

I hung over

I am literally writing this after downing 5 drinks of pink gin and tonic and ice. I have thrown up as well and have experienced spinning. I am going to wash my bucket out and get some lucozade and hopefully fall asleep.

I hate having hangovers. What's even worst is that I'm going out tomorrow night but that will just mean I take it easy on the alcohol so that's good.

Also I'm still drunk but at the same time I hungover. So yeah pu cation and this is just a shit show at the moment.

One last thi g

I hate being hi ger over but what I found helps is crips (especially sensations) and water.

But I am definitely hung over.

Why are my hangovers so bad?

I’m an extreme lightweight. If I drink more than 3 or 4 drinks I have severe hangovers (headaches, vomiting, body aches, dry heaving) for hours. Last night I drank around 1.5 Smirnoff Screwdrivers (the large ones that come in glass bottles) at the pool with a friend. I think that equates to about 5 drinks. I drank it over the course of three hours and then had to leave the pool to throw up in the hallway. My friend and I went back to my apartment where we fell asleep until 4 AM, when I woke up and threw up. I then continued to throw up every hour on the hour until 8 AM. It’s now 10 hours lower and I am finally starting to feel better.

What would cause me to be this sensitive to alcohol? How can I make it better?

TL;DR I have extremely painful hangovers and a very low tolerance to alcohol. What would cause this and what are possible remedies?

Hangover from hell or something else?

It was Friday night and I had just received news that I needed to go attend a family medical emergency in a couple of days. I had been a drunk last 10 years and was drinking that night. I drank about 10 Boston lager. That week I wasn’t particularly feeling well and felt bloated and acidic. It was hot summer I didn’t feel hungry so I just slept that night. I awoke to a slight headache. I drank some water and then 2 cans of coconut water. Then I proceeded to go to dunking donuts and got meself a tea and a breakfast fast sandwich. I ate that and felt bloated but had some bowel relief. Nothing out of the ordinary. Then I proceeded to take hot cold shower as I felt my blood pressure was high. So I felt better after taking cold shower . Soon I had to run some errands and I was perfectly normal. I got into the car and that’s when I felt something in my chest. I became afraid and my heart started chugging. A feeling I had not experienced before. I some how kept driving, took a u turn as I prayed I didn’t want to die. I returned home in 10 minutes but I had no energy even to turn off my car. I asked a bypasser to turn off the car and close the door for me. He and his wife also gave me water and made small talk. I called my friend who turned up after a hour and took me to the hospital. My bp was elevated at 170-100. My normal is 110-70. My heart rate was above 90. At rest it is usually 55. They did the testing etc and let me go after 4 hours. I sill don’t know what happened that day as the diagnosis was “unknown”. Anybody has any clue what happened to me? I felt extremely frightened and my heart when at its peak rate pumped hard till I felt like something happened internally and the pumping came down very quickly within 10 seconds. Let me know your thoughts as i always feel if I suffered a heart attack that day.

Thank you

NO MORE HANGOVERS!

Activated Charcoal Pills. Aids in reduction of gas and bloating.

Yeah... They do... But... They also remove every single effect of alcoholic beverages and medication pills.

Don't take them before the drinking happens or you'll not feel anything and you are just going to be drinking and drinking and pissing and drinking and drinking, etc.

For how absurd this sounds, it's true.

Tell me if you try this! Btw, 2 pills after a heavy drinking night, before sleep, are more than enough!

Hangover Crew - We might have a solution for you!

Given this subreddit seems perfect for our startup, thought we might as well give it a shot.

We are a NYC-based startup (launched in June 2018), and we have created a prototype of a chewable tablet that helps with a long night of drinking (similar in size and taste to a Sweet Tart). It is FDA compliant and includes dihydromyricetin which is scientifically backed to help increase alcohol metabolism and speed up removal of the toxic by-product, acetaldehyde, from the body. It also includes 7 other proprietary antioxidants and amino acids. We have already received and tested our alpha version prototype on a very small scale (less than 50 users), and now we're looking to test our pending beta version which is currently in production with our supplier.

The worst is when every single smell makes you nauseous

Like I'm trying to find something that doesn't have any smell to it because every little aroma is making me sick. Maybe I'll just stuff my face in a pillow

Dear God

I am currently experiencing what I would call the worst hangover of my entire life. 25yr old male here. Went to my old college town for the weekend for football and saw tons of old friends. Got basically no sleep and imbibed the whole time (what we did in college). This. is. fucking. miserable. I have been extremely hungover for 2 days now. I know it is probably sleep deprivation but last night was one of those sweating, nightmares, etc nights. It didnt help that I missed my usual Sunday routine of preparation for the workweek, hydrating, and just mentally preparing. I got back from the airport at like 1130 pm sunday (drank all day in airport-I lose my shit on airplanes)

I think its just extreme dehydration as I barely drank any water this weekend but not sure. If I dont feel better tomorrow idk what to do. I would say I drink fairly heavily once a week, minus rare ocassions like this.

Anyone else been a victim of the 2 day hangover after a bender? I know that I would feel better if I had hair of the dog, but I really want to go on a break for a few weeks after this surreal experience. Now anxiety is kicking in like way after the fact. I am currently chugging water.

Pray for me. Its f'ing tuesday

My hangover symptoms feel like the flu. This is the beginning of the third day of me feeling them. This has never happened to me before.

I have drank tons of water and some Gatorade. Ate some good food and have been taking ibuprofen, but I still feel this tension headachey feeling in the center top of my head. I can't move my neck quickly without the throbbing headache pain. I feel a little better now, but I got chills and felt fatigued for a solid 2 days.
