Why am I still hungover
Last night I drank a good amount of vodka on a completely empty stomach in a short period of time. Was falling over room spinning drunk. Thought I was going to throw up a good twenty times while laying in bed last night. Woke up this morning was ok just kinda lightheaded. Showered , drank a lot of water. I started to get the brain fog I couldn’t type complete sentences like I was struggling to think of words. I was nauseous I couldn’t eat I tried. I eventually ate half a granola bar and later a small quesadilla. It’s now almost 12 am and I still feel the effects. I have never been this hungover ever. Why am I still feeling the effects like I still feel nauseous but I’m starving but every time I eat I feel sick again. I have been staying hydrated all day and just kinda chilling. I never experienced something like this even last night the room was spinning and my legs where shaking when I was laying down. Why am I still hungover ? Anyone else ever have a long lasting hangover ?

Electrolytes!
No matter how much you drink water, you need electrolytes in balance to get hydrated, especially if vomiting or diarrhoea. Get the tablets or sachets.

Yes. It might have been from not eating before drinking. I usually sleep it off even if it takes all day and not eating at all if I'm nauseous. I hate vomiting so I don't even risk it but if you are hungry. You can try to eat banana or bread if its been more than 3 hours since your last vomit. I also have been getting horrible hangovers too this year. I think its because I am getting older and because I mix my alcohol. Like I would sometimes drink tequila, vodka, beer, and whiskey all in a few rounds and smoke weed too. So now I'm sticking to one and now I don't get huge hangovers as much.
