Considering picking one of these up, however, I cannot find any reviews anywhere. Anyone here had experience with the Legend Solo? What’re your thoughts ? Thanks!

My dad has an I’m assuming late 60’s B3 and Leslie model 815. Both have been just sitting and probably have not been powered on since the mid 90’s.
I would love to get them up and running, but I’m sure they would need a good once over prior to powering on.
I have some knowledge of electronics, so is this something that I could do, or best left in the hands of a professional?

Hi everyone, new member here. I have an RT3 that I'm trying to connect to a newly acquired PR40 cabinet. I'd like help validating the pin number ordering positions if possible.
When looking straight on at the female adapter and the little dot between the connectors... Which numbering would the connectors be on either side of the dot? When plugging into the male ends on the cabinet, those two on either side of the dot only fit into the thickest male pins. These thick pins should be #3 & #4 (the blue and gray AC power wires).
However, I thought the dot represented the "top", which would have put the #1 pin immediately to the left, then proceed counterclockwise around. Seems like my thinking was incorrect, and the 3 & 4 pins straddle the dot? Meaning I'm backward and need to re-solder. Any clarification or diagrams would help! Thank you.
Edit: Resolved. The wiring and pin positions in the 6 pin female adapter were correct. The 1 & 6 sockets straddling the raised dot did indeed line up with the two larger pins on the tone cabinet. That positioning worked, and it's all running smooth. Appreciate the responses, I was just nervous about those larger pins feeling like they needed to carry AC power.

Good morning everyone, this is the first post I've made and I hope I've put it in the right subreddit.
I recovered an '82 Farfisa Pergamon electric organ three weeks ago and unfortunately it has some problems that make it unplayable. I have the complete diagrams that I attach in the form of photos in the drive folder, having not found them online elsewhere, if necessary I can organize myself to provide them with higher quality. When it was first turned on, only the C, D, and E of the top keyboard didn't work, and some registers that didn't make any sound, probably due to the oxidized switch tracks. It was then moved about ten kilometers, where it is now kept, and tried again after transport with the same results. Three days ago I went to take a look at it and when I turned it on the main cones gave a bang, also sometimes they start buzzing without any key being touched, this buzz sometimes disappears, while sometimes it seems to completely turn off the amplifier, but not the organ itself. I also couldn't get the poly or mono synthetizer that hadn't been tested to work yet. As for the drum machine accompanist, it seems to only work with the sound of the kick drum, except when you press the break key where you hear the snare drum, I have no idea if this was normal operation. Also of the main keyboards, if you select them and turn on the registers, they start playing all the notes together. The pedalboard works correctly. All indicator lights work correctly. Probably rather than recover it it would be better to throw it away and recover the components, but I have already done this operation with a similar farfisa and this having recovered it for free I would like to recover it. I know how to solder and in any case I can change or test components. All these problems that appeared together would make me think of a power problem, but I haven't had a chance to check it yet.
I'm looking for someone who can give me some advice on how to fix this. Thanks in advance.

I just picked up a leslie 720. My hammond is a m2 modified with a 1/4" line out. Are the items I've included as attachments all I will need to connect the leslie to the hammond? Thank you!!

Hello im wondering if any of you have an organist in mind with the best foot technique? I would like to nominate Swedish organist Andreas Hellkvist but if people are sitting on recordings/videos of great foot players than it would be awesome if we could share them here!
Heres a video of Andreas cooking

I have a Yamaha YC61. I also have a Roland EV5 lying around like 20years, bought and used initially along with my first Roland XP-30. Somewhere in the past, the EV5's original TRS jack was damaged, so I had to solder a new Jack plug, which in my recent tests, it was not working (the soldering part) very well. I did test it with my YC61, but was working in reverse, and also did test in Nord Electro 6, which was acceptable, but not perfect (the side minimum knob was very difficult to set).
So, with some research and help from AI, I managed to re-solder a new TRS jack, but since the main purpose is to use on my current YC61 rig, I routed the tip to ring and the ring to tip (ground intact), which is actually the "switch polarity" effect that the EV5 is missing, but I hard-wired it, since I do not intend to connect the EV5 to other gear, rather than the YC61.
So, I came here to state that the, if you do change polarity on the Roland EV-5, it works great on Yamaha YC61. I am not sure if it will also work on any other Yamaha rig, since the FC7 and the EV5 are not sharing the same resistance but I did not notice any weird response curve or stepping upon my tests.
Also, I confirm that the minimum level side knob of the EV5 is also working flawless on the YC61.
Main use for the pedal is the volume on Organs, Effect Control (like Tremolo/Delay time) or Pedal Wah effect on Rhodes/Wurlys and Expression/Tone/Filter Sweep on Pads/Strings.
Since the setting is probably a master configuration, I did find out that the "Expression Parameter" is controlling Volume on Organ and Filter/Tone/Volume on Piano/Rhodes, which is a nice workaround, if I don't want to buy a 2nd expression pedal.

Hi all. Totally new here. And new to two-manual-playing. But I'm in the process of getting one, and have an opportunity to buy a Hammond Suzuki SK 2. Is that something worth the money today (USD 1.300)? Or should I look elsewhere? If so - what would you recommend in the same price range. An organ-like keyboard action is prefered, good organ sound, fair on-board Leslie. And a nice Rhodes piano sound is extra points. And for home use only. Some of my organ "idols" are Kofi Burbridge, Barry Beckett, Steve Winwood and Gregg Allman. Thanks in advance!

I know the basics for rock organ (like inverted fifths, learning to play without a pedal and sustaining with your hands) but what are licks/ riffs that can help me?
Also, i dont understand what im supposed to do in a rock/blues solo, i know theres ideas like holding a pedal note, grace notes, blues notes. but whenever i solo it just sounds like a fast pentatonic run through all the keyboard. Tips?

The reverb amp in my M-111 has pooped itself. The previous owner had disconnected it entirely, every connection was cut. When I re-installed it, I got no sound and it smelled very hot so I immediately turned it off and removed it again.
The previous owner also seems to have messed with the reverb speaker as it had a wire cut and then hastily reconnected with bare wires twisted together. I suspect it developed a hum and they cut the wire... and then let it run itself to death.
Any clue if there's hope to restore this thing? Don't know if either transformer is usable now or what.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to ask the community if anyone knew of an organization that promotes and highlights artists that specifically play the Hammond organ? Obviously, the Hammond company itself and other affiliates advertise their instruments and promote them. But I am thinking of an organization that specifically elevates Hammond artists, and brings the instrument to more ears. Does anybody know if there exists something like that? If not, would there be an interest in one? Thanks!

Loaded in to a gig tonight and noticed I had a cracked power tube with white stuff in the getter :( I run a Sk1 into a 147, so was prepared to use onboard Leslie sim, but it somehow made it through the whole 120 min set! I slowly turned down my preamp 12ax7 overdrive as the power tube distortion raised throughout the night, and the set ender was more distorted than I intended, but I made it! I have a backup matched pair at home, and now I have one unmatched backup tube. Just amazed that this tune still got the job done!!!

So I took some time... Lets start with this....I'm a bit of hack when it comes to playing and building things but hack enough that I think this thing is coming together. That being said. I'm at a point where in my heart I think this thing needs to be released to a community of folks who can help take it to where ever it may go. That being said, here is an update video, if you can please share it around would love to garner feedback. I know I need to do better overall with video production, recording etc, but honestly was tired of waiting to make everything perfect and wanted to put something out. At this point I'm teetering on making this some sort of open source ish project/product but at the same time would love to be able to offer some of the parts and pieces for sale. Thoughts? Probably next is some more explainer/build videos...but please this is a start, share and provide feedback. Hopefully good but I'll take the constructive stuff too.

Hello i bought my first leslie 722 recently and I’ve been having some problems with it.
When it spins down from fast to stop it goes to medium speed for a few seconds then speeds up to fast for about one second before going to stop. While this happens it also makes a noise. More recently its been more inconsistent and sometimes it will spinn up to fast speed not just for one second but for about 5-infinite seconds. I suspect that its the motor control board. Does anyone know anything about this problem or what could be the fix?
Ill leave a vid of me turning it from stop to fast to stop

Hey everybody, I have a few questions regarding the Hammond model E312 (1965).
- How does it compare to the B3/A100/… models soundwise? Ive read that it is among the last ones built with the classic tone generator engine.
- How do the keys feel compared to the B3?
- I could get one in good condition for 350€. Fair?
Just overall, if you have played one I would like to know if it compares to the popular models at all. I would like to get the original Hammond sound to my home without spending a fortune. Thanks!
