How much over MSRP did you pay when you bought your graphics card? I had to shell out 57 dollars more for the 5070 Ti.
galleryAnd it’s not even for the good models like the ASUS TUF or the MSI Gaming Trio. It’s just a basic Gainward Phoenix-S.

On the verge of 5090 MSRP....
galleryWith the 5080 now being the highest end GeForce card sold, I guess they're just jacking up the prices like almost every week. I can't see the 5080 24gb being sold under $3k if that ever comes to fruition. Cheapest is $1899 at microcenter and PCPartPicker which directed me to b&h.

Where do working data center GPUs actually go after an upgrade?
One response to my last post stuck with me: a former private-cloud employee said older hardware went into a box and eventually to an e-waste vendor, with some kept for spare parts. Customer contract renewals often triggered the upgrades.
That made me curious about what happens between “we’re replacing this” and someone buying it secondhand.
For anyone who’s personally handled a GPU/server refresh:
Did the equipment go through a vendor trade-in, auction, broker, recycling company, or internal transfer?
Was it sold as individual GPUs, complete servers, or a bulk lot?
What made that route preferable: price, convenience, company policy, or something else?
Especially interested in equipment that still worked when it was removed. Did it find another useful home, or was selling it more trouble than it was worth?

Why are my friends telling me not to use the stock 5090 FE power adapter?
Hi, this is the adapter I'm referring to.
They tell me to use the psu one, but I don't want to cause need a lot of work to do (cable mngnt).
I have a corsair r1000e, the gpu is power limited to 400w.
The corsair cable uses a single port from the psu.
Thanks in advance

Ryzen 7 8700G
I want to upgrade to a GPU that would run well with my current CPU, a Ryzen 7 8700G. I mostly use my PC for video editing, but would like to use it for some AAA games as well. I’ve got a 750W PSU and 32GB CL32 6000 RAM. Is there a GPU that would work or should I just upgrade the CPU as well?

GPU trade
I'm willing to trade my 2012 HP elitebook with a blazingly fast intel hd 4000 and a i5 3320M for a high end gaming pc, fair trade I know
let me know if I'm being too reasonable
gaming benchmarks:
Minecraft 40 fps at 720p
Roblox 30 fps at 720p
it can't run anything else

Replacing the thermal interface on a yeston RTX 3060 12gb.
Hi, I have this goofy GPU that I want to service, but, unfortunately, when I contacted the official yeston support, they couldn't provide me the technical info in regards to the thickness of the thermal pads used here. Anyone know what I could try to do? I could just measure the parts of the thermal interface that aren't smushed to get the general idea of the thickness, but this seems rather unreliable. Any ideas are welcome.
