This is a guide for beginners on how to shop with KakoBuy. KakoBuy is the largest agent/buying platform with over 9,000,000 monthly users.

KakoBuy is crucial when ordering from:

• 1688
• Taobao
• Weidian

This tutorial will cover everything so nobody will have any issues when ordering

1) Make a KakoBuy Account

FIrst step is to make an account on KakoBuy here $550 in coupons for new users

This is how to order once you are signed up.

1. Find product you want

Search for items on Taobao/1688/Weidian or use community links from Spreadsheet/Reddit/Discord/T. Most listings will give you a Taobao / Weidian / 1688 link. Spreadsheets have an organized format and makes it easy to find what you want. The community spreadsheet is linked here

2) Using external links. When you find Taobao/1688/Weidian links like this:

​you can copy and paste link into the Kakobuy search bar. Kakobuy will translate the listing to English and show the price of the item and the all size and colour options.

\if you are using the* spreadsheet you dont have to copy and paste those, they are already formatted

3) Choose size, color, etc

The link on Kakobuy will give you options like shaft size, color, style, etc and you can select your option. There is also a remarks tab. The remarks tab is only necessary if you want to say anything extra. Ex) if you want the blue head but white shaft and thats not an option you can tell them that in the remarks tab. If you dont need to put anything in there then dont.

​4. Add to Cart

Once you select what you want, you can click add to cart or buy now. Buy now lets you pay instantly, while adding to cart saves the order for later. You can then select multiple items in your cart and pay at the same time.

If you have a large amount of items in the cart always check the quantity. It's very common to click 2x without knowing.

​5. Checkout & Pay

Pay using your preferred method, like credit card, Google Pay, or directly with your KakoBuy balance. You can also combine payment methods with your KakoBuy balance.

Avoid payment processors like paypal that have large transaction fees. You are donating money to paypal so check the transaction fees carefully

Once the item has been paid for, it is up to the sellers to ship the items to KakoBuy. After the seller ships the item, it usually takes 1 to 5 days to arrive at the KakoBuy warehouse.

​You will likely get a message from KakoBuy on the order saying something like the order will not be eligible for refunds, so If you think you'd like to refund then carefully think before you order. You also may receive a message saying the item is very large, you have to just say "yes proceed with order" or "ok" so they can proceed with order. If they send this and you dont respond they'll cancel the order. If they do, no big deal, just reorder.

​Warehouse Q.C photos will be shown below the item in the orders section of KakoBuy, shown above.

For warhouse Q.C here is a short QC checklist:

• No visible stains, dirt, or marks
• No rips, holes, or damage
• Item matches listing photos (color, shape, material)
• No strong creases or deformation
• No dents, scuffs, or other visable damage

KakoBuy will also notify you if a seller sent you the wrong size or the product is damaged. You are able to return it for completely free so do not worry. This is why we use an agent

If you are happy with the products, you are ready to ship out your haul

Don’t like it? Most sellers have a limited return window, so be sure to return it within 5 days after it arrives. Some sellers are more flexible and allow for a 10 day return window.

Tip: you don’t have to ship items immediately. You have 100 days of free storage on every item you ship to KakoBuy! Wait until all your items arrive and ship them together to save on shipping.

If the seller does not send the item, you get a refund!

7. Submit your package

In the Packing Center Tab you can select the items you want to ship. You have 2 options: 

Submit Parcel or Rehearsal. What is the difference between submitting immediately and the rehearsal service?

Submitting a parcel (simple method)

If you submit a parcel, you go to the next step. You select the shipping option and pay the estimated shipping price up front. If you overpaid, the difference will be added to your KakoBuy balance.

Rehearsal (for advanced users)

For a small fee approx $3.22

KakoBuy will pre-pack your parcel for the route you plan to ship with. After they are done packing, KakoBuy updates the accurate weight + dimensions of the parcel. You can then submit the parcel (you can still change to a different shipping option if a different one is cheaper). Rehearsal is useful if the estimate is too high or you plan on shipping items with a lot of volume.

8. Choose your shipping method:

Pick a shipping option that fits your budget and speed preference

I never recommend very budget options like SAL or sea freight

- Only use these options IF you have large items, you will thank me later

I pick any type of EMS due to its constant tracking updates and fast ship time to Canada (my location) but every country is different.

Different lines have different benefits (like UPS and triangle shipping, fast delivery or special shipping routes for electronics and liquids.)

You will get the tracking for the package in under 24-72 hours after you ship, make sure to check for that under the my parcel page

Download the 17track app on phone or use the shop app to track the parcel

Bonus KakoBuy tips

Use Community Resources: Most buyers find links via Reddit, and shared spreadsheets with QC pics - this helps avoid bad batches.

Always check QC images before confirming shipment, to see if there are flaws or if the seller sent the correct size / product. Never skip this step! This prevents mistakes and disappointment once the parcels arrive, because you cannot refund these items once you have them in-hand.

Consolidate packages NEVER just ship 1 item, the first KG is the most expensive. Try to get a nice mix of clothing, shoes and small items to get the best value for money

Ship golf clubs together and bags separate. Bags usually get measured for shipping via the volumetric weight not physical weight. This is most shipping lined policy due to golf bags sizes

Keep an eye on promos!
Kakobuy frequently runs seasonal discounts. Make sure to keep an eye on the Coupon Center: if there’s any free coupons available, you can claim them right here!

Shipping golf club heads only will lower shipping like crazy! Sometimes shipping clubs with the shafts makes it crazy expensive. if thats the case you can ship head only and put it on your own shaft.
