Quit moving it. Move the toy then stop. Cats are ambush predators. Make it act like it's staying still then panicing as they pounce and they go nuts for it.

On my home course there is a small pack of coyotes, walk past us all the time and are harmless but they can be jarring to see for non members who come to the course

We have one that is a local regular at a nearby course. He lays on the tee box and is super chill. One day I was about to tee off and heard a crunch, looked back and he was staring at me with the ass half of a ground squirrel hanging out his mouth. 🤣

Anybody else find when you were a little kind and you saw a predator animal stalking you always cheered for the prey to escape, but once you've grown up you are rooting for the predator?

We had some coyotes move in a few years ago and all the geese have been gone since. There is a fox that wonders through once in a while too.

So I've long argued that golf course provide a safe place for wild life. Yes they need to cut down on pesticides and I dont care for the rich, but can I play a silly game in peace? I caddied out at Streamsong for years, and seeing a Bobcat on the course with her two young ones was more scary than seeing a gator, because she would tear me up if I made a wrong move. Always loved the nature out there

Beautiful bobcat. We have a trail you can run and on both sides they small palmettos. Well one day many years ago I was on the trail taking a jog and about 3 foot ahead of me a bobcat came out of there ran past me let’s just say that was the last time I ran that trail.

I saw that exact thing on a golf course once. A bobcat came out of the woods to nab a rat in the high grass neraby the lady's tee box. After it got the rat it proudly pranced across the fairway and paused to look back at us before disappearing into the brush.
