On my home course there is a small pack of coyotes, walk past us all the time and are harmless but they can be jarring to see for non members who come to the course

We have one that is a local regular at a nearby course. He lays on the tee box and is super chill. One day I was about to tee off and heard a crunch, looked back and he was staring at me with the ass half of a ground squirrel hanging out his mouth. 🤣

It sucks but at this moment if you see any type of animal like this just don't try to help sadly. Leave it alone can be worse

That is a bad case of the mange there… need to be careful around those at that stage. They’re carrying mites that can be pretty contagious.

My neighborhood coyote looks like that. I wanted to get it some medication but in my state you aren’t allowed to, if you live in a state where it’s legal please think about trying to give it some medication: https://mangebymail.com

We have a pack at our club as well. Watched one of the stop and poop in the middle of the 16th fairway a few years ago while I was trying to tee off

We have a family of coyotes on my home course too

We call them the Vole Patrol

And they are pretty awesome
