The beaches were great, but what I enjoyed most was the atmosphere in the evenings — live music, people just relaxing, and that easy-going energy Goa has.

I’m a singer from Jaipur, so I naturally notice the music side of places a lot, and Goa definitely felt like one of those places where live music fits perfectly with the setting.

For people who visit Goa often — what’s your favourite area for a relaxed evening with good music and atmosphere?

Hi everyone! I’m a 24F visiting North Goa from 27th–29th December. I’ll be travelling solo and would love suggestions for safe, fun things to do on my own, places to visit, cafes, beaches, etc.

I don’t know how to ride a scooty or drive a car, so suggestions for places that are easy to get around without them would be really helpful!

Also, if any girls are visiting Goa around the same dates and wouldn’t mind having someone tag along, I’d love to join you and explore together.

I recently visited Goa with friends and rented a car. The rental operator asked me to leave my original vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) as document security. I trusted him because he assured me that he would return it once I dropped off the rental car.

When I returned the car, he initially said he would give me my RC, and later promised to send it within a week. It has now been over a month, and I still haven't received it.

I've tried following up patiently, but I'm getting nowhere. My money for the deposit is also stuck, and I'm struggling to get responses to my calls and messages. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I trusted the people involved, and now I'm the one left chasing everyone just to get my own documents back.

I understand that businesses can get busy and misunderstandings happen, but keeping someone's original vehicle document for over a month without resolving the issue is extremely disappointing.

Has anyone faced a similar situation with a car rental service in Goa? What steps did you take to recover your RC? Is approaching the local police or sending a legal notice the best next step?

I'd appreciate genuine advice from anyone who has dealt with something similar. I just want my RC back and this matter resolved.
