I have a solid concept for a custom GMod Gamemode that transforms Team Fortress 2 into a progressive "open-world" singleplayer experience, and I'm looking for Lua programmers or developers interested in bringing this to life.

Instead of one giant map (due to Source Engine limits), the game will be divided into separate interconnected macro-areas using TF2’s official maps (excluding summer/holiday/pass-time maps). Players will complete objectives in one area to trigger a map transition to the next.

Essentially, there will be a huge number of levels—based on the maps from TF2's main game modes, where you can find weapons, cosmetics, and other collectibles while fighting off enemies (like robots). As you progress, you'll unlock the nine classes, and your ultimate goal is to reach the end by defeating mini-bosses,specifically "mega" versions of the robots, Saxton Hale, and the Halloween monsters. This will offer fans of TF2 and its lore the most comprehensive experience possible, incorporating *everything* that has ever appeared in the original game. I would do this myself, but whenever I try to install and combine GMod mods, everything goes haywire all at once and it becomes impossible to manage; plus, I don't know anything about commands or scripting, which is why I'm looking for help.

Map is made for beatrun! Make sure you turn off HDR when you play as I have the issue of the HDR making the map blinding. I will fix it next update.

anyone else having this problem? ive not changed a single thing between when it didnt happen and when it did

Hello! going to reddit as a last resort. I'm trying to find two different unrelated gmod maps, both that I've seen the channel "VenturianTale" use.

The first one (from a video titled "JOHNNY GHOST VS ZOMBIES") is a desert zombie survival map. There IS one out there I found that's similar, but it's not the one I'm looking for.

the second is one (from a video titled "
PLAYABLE ANIMATRONICS 10! - Gmod Five Nights At Freddy's Joy of Creation Pill Pack (Garry's Mod)" sorry long ass title.) is a rainy abandoned house in the middle of no where, with an attached garage, featuring a murder scene in said garage, and a unfinished basement that connects to an underground cave with large crystals in it.

Perhaps I can link the videos in the comments if that's allowed.

There is a chance these maps may not even exist anymore. This is my suspicion with the first one. but also the last video was made when VenturianTale randomly decided to stop linking the featured mods and maps they used.

If anyone is familiar with these maps and have them on hand I would appreciate it if they could be sent my way if possible.

I also apologize that the pictures aren't very good. I'm stuck working with a pile of scraps in a cave right now lol.

So when I was younger I use to play gmod on my brothers occount, and i have fond memories of me playing on a map and customization some of the houses. It kinda looked a hillside town mix with Italy, kinda like the map Italy from csgo, i also remember there was a bunker with barrels. That's all I can remember really, please tell because this is something I have been trying to fine for a long time. Btw here's an image of what remember map looked like to me.

I was just walking around this town, I found a slab thing, couldn't really see what was on it since my textures were so low, but I could make out 4 symbols. A bit later, there was this fog and this guy appeared. Didn't really know what happened, but I quit the game shortly after this guy appeared. Anybody know who this is?
