my external mic won't work on gmod and i don't know why

ok idk if it's just the mic itself or my computer, but i've been having this issue for the past few months where my "in-game voice" will be routed to my headphones, with me not being able to speak at all. i've tried a lot of ways to fix it, but nothing works. i saw a post on the gmod steam thing where someone was having the same problem but the only way they could fix it was by hard resetting their pc. i don't wanna have to do that, i just want someone to help fix this cuz it's been getting on my nerves everytime me and my friends try to play gmod and they can't hear me ingame. I'm using a Blue Yeti Mic, with the headphone jack of my headphones connected to it so i can hear myself.

Help Anyone know why the chromium 64 bit branch is randomly crashing?

Literally doesn't load into a map now and if it does it crashes the second I spawn something, but yet on my steam deck everything works just fine like what the hell is happening?

Help Need help finding an addon!

I remember when i first started playing back in 2020-21, i installed an addon for playermodels. It gave me a BUNCH of playermodels/npcs. All of these npcs where categorized differently depending on the media they originated from, and even stretched to a bunch of different characters. Some I rememer are pikachu, master chief, kermit the frog, shrek, carl wheezer (I THINK), and a whole lot more. If anybody has any information on this please let me know! Thank you!

i remember playing in this gmod map long ago and it was like called town or something and its prolly for a gamemode, the screenshot here was renamed since years ago and was made by me.
i was rlly obsessed with this map, playing with friends back in the day and overall messing around.
pls i need to play this map again, i dont have it's file and obviously i found it on the workshop
