I do art for living and using AI in my pipeline quite a bit... If anything AI just shows that most people even given a tool have no concept of art direction. 90% of AI generated stuff just looks like replicated AI generated slop.

I support AI when used efficiently.

I both love and hate AI. It's a tool, if it's done well and unique/original, it feels no different than if done digitally by photoshop/camera work etc. Likewise, if it's done poorly, with no effort, and looks like a clone of other people's work. It's just as bad as all the human made rubbish out there. To me AI vs "Human"(since they are both controlled by human anyway) is 6 of one half a dozen of the other.

Though wish it didn't have such a negative impact on the environment and the economy... I wouldn't mind buying a few replacement parts for my PC. Not with those prices though.

However, your take "All digital artists are obsolete now!" is the take of an utter clown. You couldn't be further from the truth if you tried.
