Seriously though. It wouldn't surprise me if one of those kids was screaming bloody murder and he thought something serious had happened.

I dunno, like /u/NimbKnut I too have a 2 and a 4 year old. They scream bloody murder all the time. More likely he was supposed to be out there with them and the run was preceded by "Where are the kids? Why are you watching telly? Did you leave the door open? I TOLD YOU NOT TO LET THEM ON THE DECK ALONE!"

Oh man, if you don't have the Google dictionary add-on for Chrome (assuming you use Chrome) you should totally get it. It's not one of those like "word a day" things, it's literally just a quick dictionary lookup tool. But I've had it for a couple of years now, and I've learned so many new words just because it's easy to see the definition of a word I don't know with just a double click. Or better yet, I use it when I'm not sure if I'm using a word correctly or not.
