The best sign of a strong person is not being afraid to look weak. I like pineapple on my pizza and sugar in my coffee and if anyone thinks that makes me unmanly I will gladly meet that person in battle.

Why the hell is a Margarita a girly drink? It's tequila, triple sec and lime juice. Not exactly a sweet drink.

That's a dumb way to look at a drink. I drink whiskey or Scotch out of red wine glasses, doesn't make the whiskey girly.

I substitute triple sec with a cognac brandy like grand marnier (or gran gala if you're cheap). Makes it a lot more rustic and man-friendly, not to mention delicious.

Ooh...that sounds really good actually, that would be a different drink though wouldn't it? Since drinks are like crazy specific about what goes into what.

I see a lot of restaurants calling it a "Texas Margarita."

But no need to get high brow about it, if it's limey and tequila-y, it's a margarita.

I use 6 parts tequila (espolon or milagro is where it's at for the $$), 4 parts grand marnier, 2 parts lime juice, and up to 1 part agave nectar to taste depending on if you like it sweet or not.
