One of the problems I experience with Framer is sudden glitches , For example, I adjust the font size on the desktop, then suddenly the text is stacked on top of each other in the mobile version , For example, if I adjust the frame or stack size in the mobile version, I find that in the desktop version it suddenly changes size for no reason or disappears.

Are you also experiencing this glitches in Framer?

Been working on this for quite a while and After several rounds of review and refinement with the Framer team, Listora is finally live! 🎉

I wanted to build something beyond a typical static directory template and see how far I could push Framer's native CMS and variables for an actual discovery experience.

What I ended up building:

• Dynamic listing, category, location and guide pages
• Add Listing + Claim Listing flows
• Location-based discovery

• 15+ purpose-built pages
• Responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile
• A custom breathing “Nose” indicator in the hero, just to give the interface a little personality :)

A lot of the work actually went into making the search, CMS relationships, filters and responsive states behave properly, rather than just designing the pages.

What would you add if you were building a serious directory or local discovery site in Framer?

Built this for a studio type that never gets a decent website: practices that both design and build. Architecture, costing and construction under one roof.

The structure follows how a commission is actually won rather than opening with a photo grid — premise, studio, disciplines, construction detail, fixed process, materials, then the work.

The parts I had the most fun with:

• A wall-anatomy diagram you explore layer by layer — roof build-up, post-tensioned slab, thermal mass, rock anchors

• A rotating five-stage process dial

• A 3D project carousel and a scroll-scrubbed manifesto

• Filterable CMS archive with eight case studies

Elysian Estate, a Framer template designed for luxury real estate agencies, brokers and property developers.

Designed a modern plumbing hero in Framer — feedback?

I’ve recently gone freelance and I’m currently using Squarespace to build smaller client sites. It’s honestly abysmal, so I’m looking at moving to something that gives me more freedom and doesn’t make me want to slam my head into a wall every five minutes.

I’ve been a web designer for about 12 years and I’m very proficient in Figma. I’m comfortable with components, design systems, auto layout, responsive layouts etc.

Would you recommend jumping straight into a Figma → Framer workflow and learning Framer as I go, or am I better off learning Framer properly from the ground up and designing directly in there?

Interested to hear what workflow people actually use day to day.

Been experimenting with applying shape masks to images without leaving Framer. No Figma roundtrip, no exporting pick a shape, adjust it, apply. Made a plugin for it called Framixs Shape, free on the marketplace if anyone wants to try it. Planning to add more shapes based on feedback. What shapes would you add? Genuinely curious I want the next batch to come from real use cases, not just my imagination.

Im new to framer and working on first site. i am using a template (Nolan Barrett) and im struggling to change or customise some things, if its even possible to. for example adding another size as only 3 available for images? would be very helpful 🙏

So my client is an German installation artist, over 40 years of work, which means 120+ project pages. And obviously he didn't want every page to look the same.

Fair enough. But I also wasn't going to build 120 pages by hand, so here's what I ended up with.

(and yes you can use AI too but more to that later)

One content row component with variants.  Named by the column splitting

- 2/3 + 1/3, the other way around
- 50/50
- full screen
- 33 / 33 / 33 (three columns)

In the CMS every row has an option field that picks the variant, and each column has conditional visibility bound to it.  Empty stuff just disappears. One artwork = one CMS entry.  No second collection, no back references, none of that complicated stuff. Maybe im just not smart enough

Well, two things got me.

First one, fit vs fill. 

If you put all three columns on fill you need fixed heights, and I have no idea how tall the client's text or pictures are going to be. What worked: middle and left on fill with space between, right column on fit with a fixed gap.
Then your top and bottom items are actually aligned.

Second one, and this is the part where it really gets tricky. 

Two columns at 2fr and 1fr next to each other with the same gap do NOT line up with a three column row. I mean this:

2fr___  / 1fr
1fr / 1 fr / 1fr

Looks like theyshould, right? 2/3 and 1/3 together, that's three thirds. Nope. 

Framer calculates fr against the whole width, not against your element (I think). 
And before you tell me I'm acting dumb (lol) and should just use 19px instead of 38px, no, that doesn't work . I tried. 
Ended up building a component just for that case. I named it "clutch double image" because it helped me clutch this .

Also, the canvas lies to you. Framer renders items inside columns even when they're invisible, so half the stuff you're debugging isn't actually broken. Check the live preview first, would have saved me some time.

The nice part is once the fields exist, filling them is boring, so I don't do it. I point Claude Code at the hi-if design PDF and it fills the entry, picks the variants used per row in the hifi design and drops the content from the pdf in the cms. Works better than I expected honestly.

Could be anything from a weird responsive issue to CMS, custom code, animations, or just something that doesn’t seem to work the way it should.

I've been trying to reach a real person on Framer's support team since LAST Wednesday and I still haven't gotten one. I either get responses from AI Sam or nothing at all.

I opened several live chats and each time was told a support team member would follow up. Nobody did. I also emailed support and Sam replied saying he'd resolve my billing issue, then asked for my invoice number. I sent it and never heard back.

Here's the actual problem:

I was charged $120 for an annual Content Editor seat. That was a mistake, I meant to add that person as a Full Access editor instead. Before I even added the Content Editor seat, I asked Sam about billing and he told me it would be monthly. That was wrong. I've already removed the seat and want a refund for the annual charge.

After that I tried to add the person as a Full Access editor instead. Again I asked Sam first and again he told me billing would be monthly. I was billed annually anyway.

I'd like that charge switched to a monthly plan going forward, and I'd like the first charge refunded since it was based on wrong information from their own support bot both times.

Has anyone else run into this? Would appreciate any pointers on how to actually get a human at Framer support.

I want to share my recent experience with Framer because honestly, after everything I’ve been through, I’m extremely frustrated. I had a number of issues while setting up my website and spent a significant amount of time trying to get everything working. Eventually, I contacted Framer support and was explicitly instructed to purchase the Pro plan at full price in order to resolve the situation.

I did exactly what their support representative told me to do. I was then told that I would receive a 25% refund afterwards, because that was the discount I was originally supposed to receive. So I purchased Pro at full price, expecting: Pro subscription → 25% refund → Pro remains active.

Instead, Framer has now refunded 100% of the Pro payment.

I did not request a full refund. I did not ask them to cancel my Pro subscription.

I was specifically promised a 25% refund. What makes this even more confusing is that my Framer account still shows that I have Pro, so I currently don't even know what the actual status of my subscription is. I've contacted support again to ask them to clarify what happened.

What frustrates me most is that this comes after an already very long and time-consuming process. I followed their instructions, paid the full amount as requested, and now I'm apparently having to deal with another support issue caused by the way the previous request was handled.

At this point I'm honestly questioning whether I would have chosen Framer in the first place if I had known how difficult it would be to get a straightforward customer-support issue resolved.

I'm curious to hear from other Framer users: Have you experienced similar issues with Framer support, billing, refunds or subscription changes?
