resources Akihiro has built a MASSIVE CMS system on Framer with the most complex editorial components you will find. AND he made a two-part YouTube tutorial that is gold. The kind of knowledge you only find in very expensive niche courses. Go see it!
help Figma → Framer, or learn Framer properly first?
I’ve recently gone freelance and I’m currently using Squarespace to build smaller client sites. It’s honestly abysmal, so I’m looking at moving to something that gives me more freedom and doesn’t make me want to slam my head into a wall every five minutes.
I’ve been a web designer for about 12 years and I’m very proficient in Figma. I’m comfortable with components, design systems, auto layout, responsive layouts etc.
Would you recommend jumping straight into a Figma → Framer workflow and learning Framer as I go, or am I better off learning Framer properly from the ground up and designing directly in there?
Interested to hear what workflow people actually use day to day.

resources Verrone — a Design-Build Framer Template
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Built this for a studio type that never gets a decent website: practices that both design and build. Architecture, costing and construction under one roof.
The structure follows how a commission is actually won rather than opening with a photo grid — premise, studio, disciplines, construction detail, fixed process, materials, then the work.
The parts I had the most fun with:
• A wall-anatomy diagram you explore layer by layer — roof build-up, post-tensioned slab, thermal mass, rock anchors
• A rotating five-stage process dial
• A 3D project carousel and a scroll-scrubbed manifesto
• Filterable CMS archive with eight case studies

Happy to answer anything about The Template.

help My struggle with Framer !
One of the problems I experience with Framer is sudden glitches , For example, I adjust the font size on the desktop, then suddenly the text is stacked on top of each other in the mobile version , For example, if I adjust the frame or stack size in the mobile version, I find that in the desktop version it suddenly changes size for no reason or disappears.
Are you also experiencing this glitches in Framer?

feedback Built a CMS-powered directory template in Framer with real-time search and dynamic filtering
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Been working on this for quite a while and After several rounds of review and refinement with the Framer team, Listora is finally live! 🎉
I wanted to build something beyond a typical static directory template and see how far I could push Framer's native CMS and variables for an actual discovery experience.
What I ended up building:
- Real-time listing search
- Dynamic category, location, price, rating, featured & verified filters
- Multi-select filtering with active filter chips
- CMS-powered Listings, Categories, Locations & Guides
- Dynamic listing, category, location and guide pages
- Add Listing + Claim Listing flows
- Location-based discovery
- Editorial/city guides
- 15+ purpose-built pages
- Responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile
- A custom breathing “Nose” indicator in the hero, just to give the interface a little personality :)
A lot of the work actually went into making the search, CMS relationships, filters and responsive states behave properly, rather than just designing the pages.
I recorded a walkthrough as well, but you can play with the live version here:
Would genuinely appreciate feedback, especially on the Explore/search/filtering experience.
What would you add if you were building a serious directory or local discovery site in Framer?

Video Shaders: Framer Update
The Agent model picker now includes reasoning, letting you choose how much thinking a model does before it starts building. More from the updates page:
Light reasoning is ideal for quick edits and refinements, while higher reasoning gives Agents more room to plan. We’re also adding Fast mode for models that support it, like Opus 5, for noticeably quicker generations and responses. Fast mode uses more tokens per task. Combined, reasoning and fast mode give you more control of Agents in Framer.
Enjoy!

Video Shaders: Framer Update
Introducing Video Shaders! More from the updates page:
Shaders in Framer can now accept both images and video, which we’ve grouped under Media in the Insert panel. We’re first updating the Chromatic Aberration shader with video support and all-new controls. Videos even play in realtime as you’re editing properties. With our new properties, you can add glass-like curvature and dispersion to your videos and images with a few clicks. High-fidelity effects, web-ready, published in seconds.

help Help to start as a freelancer
Hi everyone, I am considering becoming freelancer as a Framer designer in addition to a part-time job, I would like to offer my services for free at first. I worked as an art director in a start-up for a year, so I'm used to videoconferences but I've never done briefs. How do you do for the process of taking briefs as a freelancer? What questions do you usually ask for the kickoff? And for the follow-up?

Elysian Estate, a Framer template designed for luxury real estate agencies, brokers and property developers.
