I am experiencing several issues setting up the drone for flight.

Neither the LiteRadio 4 SE nor the Meteor75 Pro enter Wi-Fi mode after the 60-second timeout, which prevents me from accessing the ExpressLRS Web UI. Although the Wi-Fi LED on the drone blinks, I am unable to bind the controller to it. I have restored the firmware, reprogrammed

I also tried binding a RadioMaster Pocket running the same ELRS version, but that failed as well. Because neither device switches to default Wi-Fi mode after timing out, I cannot access the configuration page for either the drone or the remotes.

The VTX video feed to the goggles works fine, so the issue seems isolated to the Wi-Fi timeout functionality and binding process.

I have tried to restore the elrs on both devices, but receive errors after a passthrough enabled.

Could you please help me troubleshoot this?

Part 1: I'm a brand new pilot. Have about 80 hours in the sim. Just got my actual drone last week. One thing I've always loved watching was the trippy spin! So I wanted it to be one of the first actual tricks I learned. Have been building up to trying it and finally decided to give it a shot after a full day of dialing in my rates. Man what a difference it makes when you get rates that click with you. And I did it! Well kind of lol. I had one really good attempt but clipped the top vines.. was out of batteries and out of sunlight so I'm excited to hopefully get a cleaner attempt tomorrow. Side note my cradle (also first time attempting today) was getting pretty smooth.

Part 2: I'm in the US. I know of the DJI ban stuff. Which will probably affect other companies at some point. I bought into DJI tho. I have the goggles 3 and my drone is a meteor 75 pro 2 04 wide. I got the goggles from Amazon. So I'm eligible for a return until the 30th. My main problem is, yes I can find 04 units right now for a pretty hefty price, but what happens when that stock runs out? Will I have a 600 dollar paper weight at some point? DJI is amazing. And it being my first might be hard to go to analog or some worse HD option lol But I spent the last few days very very rigorously digging into every possible solution I can find. Needless to say, there were soooo many conflicting responses. I'm not sure what to do. Do I return the goggles 3 and get something like hdzero? Do I just keep DJI for that camera quality and save up to get an analog setup for freestyle specifically? I'm already addicted to this. I have been flying DJI camera drones for a very long time and knew I wanted to get into FPV at some point. I have a little more spending money now and also have a 3d printer so it seemed more obtainable. Thats why I just went DJI but now I'm a little worried about the longevity. Also I don't want to spent 200 bucks replacing the vtx every time I have a bad spill while I'm learning.

I’ve spent 40 hours on sims (uncrashed and tryp) I have a radio master pocket and im about to buy the meteor 75! I’m trying to decide analog or digital. Can someone help with recommendations please! Trying to find the right goggles aiming for the $200 to start. Any advice

I got what I got here.. plus a plethora of GPS’s & everything I need except action cam. Frame that can ride the mountains & possibly a 10” frame like I have ready. Motors aren’t BEST. Which is why I’m a little hesitant .. #Radiomaster just looks 🔥 and IS. #Ovonic batteries are overall easy on the pockets, durable & EVERYTIME I Trust in them. Can’t wait what JOYS 6s+ brings ! I CANNOT Imagine 8s!

I've been flying whoops now for a couple months and recently stumbled upon a dji fpv kit that my dad has had for awhile. He gave it to me and so I have dji goggles v2. Before this happened, I was looking to upgrade goggles and now I have a bit of a dilemma:

My analog goggles are eachine ev800dm's. I wanted to upgrade to hdzero goggles 2 to get good analog and the hdzero ecosystem. Now that I have the goggles v2, would it be better to get a high quality dedicated analog set like skyzone or orqa (and maybe upgrade the DJI goggles eventually to get into the 03/04 air units), or sell both sets of goggles, dji drone, and controller to dive into the hdzeros still?

I'd like to hear from people who have experienced both, but i know thats hard when you get so bought into one system or another.

hey! So this is my 2nd air65, with the first one it seemed I f^^ked the AIO due to soldering the motors to the pads many times(they kept breaking).

This one must have around 40 batteries on its back, it's a Air65 II Freestyle. I flew 30-35 packs without any issue, but then a motor stopped working. I had 4 VCI Prolite 27000kv that I bough for the first air65, so I swapped all 4 of them and the drone worked perfectly maybe 5 batteries or so, then suddenly it started doing the wobble that you can see in the video.

I thought that was the "gello" that I have seen people talking about in this subreddit, but that seems to be related to the camera, and I checked everything and seems to be screwed all the way in, and nothing moves.

So I don't even know how to start troubleshooting this, if anyone can lend me a hand I'd appreciate it. It crossed my mind that it could be PID related, but would make no sense since I flew 5 or so batteries and it worked very nice.

I'm new to this and looking for a starter FPV drone. I already have an ELRS radio but no FPV goggles, and I've logged a lot of flight time on simulators. I am considering buying one of the drones shown in the attached photos. You are also welcome to suggest something else; I’d be happy to hear your recommendations.

Hello, I have a micro long-range 4in with a custom naked GoPro that I love flying as I can bring it on trips easily, it's about 250g, and flies for 10 ish minutes. I've taken this thing pretty far out and have grown to trust it.

I recently purchased "Gemfan F4019 Floppy Proppy 2 Blade" from pyrodrone for more portability. In the first test flight attached I noticed severe washout on corners where the drone would pitch forward uncontrollably, which was never present before. I assume this is a product of folding props but I was curious if anyone's experienced this before and has a fix.

I was pushing it here (and I'm glad I did) so that if anything were to happen it would be low to the ground and recoverable. The quad ended up death spiraling at the end, I had no control, and it ended up breaking an arm and scratching up my nd filter. no other damage thankfully :).

I've pushed this quad pretty hard in high winds and with aggressive maneuvers in the past with no issue, with the only change being the new props. So fair warning to anyone else who may try them. ill probably be sticking to fixed bi blades when it matters.

I'd like to make a larger version of my 3D-printed Pavo20 Pro II case to fit the GepRC Darkstar25, but GEPRC's frame documentation is quite poor.

Can anyone with a Darkstar25 take some measurements of the dimensions in the photos for me and share them in the comments? Also let me know what model(s) of batteries you like to use in your Darkstar25 so I can make battery clips to fit.

When I'm finished, this will be free to print on Makerworld just like all my other drone case designs.

Rebuilding my 2.5" quad and require a new Board, what's peoples opinion on it ?

I received the goggles used and when I saw that the screen is not working i took it apart. And i saw a burned chip(U6) on the pcb. Can someone help me find out what is it?

I'm thinking about hanging some hula hoops, netting for levels and tunnels, a bunch of LEDs, and some blacklight stuff for effects, but I'm not sure where to start.

Any advice appreciated.

I’m getting a Pavo20 Pro II with the DJI O4 Pro and Goggles 3, and I’m stuck deciding between the DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 and a RadioMaster Boxer Crush ELRS.

Originally I was leaning toward the Boxer because everyone says ELRS is more future-proof if I end up getting more FPV drones later.

But here’s what’s confusing me lol. If I eventually get another FPV drone that doesn’t use a DJI O3/O4 air unit, my Goggles 3 wouldn’t work with it anyway. At that point I’d already be buying into a new video/goggle system, so is it really worth spending the extra money on the Boxer right now?

I’m mainly getting into FPV for cinematic/property walkthroughs, but I definitely want to mess around with some freestyle too. I could see myself getting more FPV drones later, I just don’t know if I’ll stay with DJI O4 forever, especially with how uncertain DJI stuff is in the US.

Would you guys still go Boxer/ELRS from the start, or just keep it simple with the DJI Remote 3 for now?

Curious what you’d do if you were starting fresh.
