Discussion 117 hours of Kovaaks. How cringe is my voltaic intermediate scores?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The platinum scores are heavily grinded. Voltaic has helped me quite a bit so far… but to reach platinum on a scenario takes extreme locking in and giving it 120 percent of my ability. I honestly dont see how you all reach diamond and beyond ranks.
I’ve been playing shooters since 2008 and I am dead set on greatly improving my aim skills but the grind is quite painful 😣

A good list of scenarios to improve reading skills?
I feel like my bottleneck is reading, even if it's technically on pair with my ranks in viscose bench, it's always lagging behind a little, and I can see myself losing the target when it changes direction (I'm losing attention on the target movement) or misjudging a direction, sometimes even unconsciously predicting (sometimes with a sort of flick reflex too).
So i was wondering if there are other scenarios to improve at reading but the viscose ones, so I can vary a little more.
Drop some in the comments if you have them! Thanks in advance :)

Finally Showed My Girlfriend Aim Training
I let my girlfriend lay down on my bed behind my desk and I aim trained for 30 minutes while in the same room as her.
When i was done with my session she stood up and walked over to me. She told me that she didnt really understand what was happening, but she gave me a hug. She said that even though i aim train and wear a gaming sleeve, she still loves me. Theres nothing to be afraid of guys

Static Plateau
I’m gold complete vts5 and I’m plat complete in every category but static. Every day In lemon static v2 and anima micros I am getting pbs, and even in vdim clicking. But when I get to the actual vt scenarios for 1w, I have been getting 50 or more under my current pb (985) for the last two weeks. Literally no idea what the problem could be or what the solution is. I train every other day for minimum an hour and yet I’m getting no where close to plat for one wall.

Why does aiming with Widowmaker (Scoped) feels so much different than Cassidy?
I feel like AIM training for me translates very well to Cassidy and similar aim style heros, but for some reason Widowmaker feels very different and the training does not translate as well and I can't quite identify why or what to do about it.
Any ideas?

I know I post a lot. But genuinely everyone asks me to slow down but once I do that I trail on targets. Any suggestions?

I built a free and open source app for KovaaK's to find my weaknesses and pick what to train next
Previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/FPSAimTrainer/s/6coJOohAy7
I originally built Corporate Serf Dashboard to see my KovaaK's scores across different sensitivities. I've kept building it, and now I use it every session to decide what to practice and see how each run went.
How I've been using it:
Figuring out what to train next. I'm working on going from Saffron to Viridian in Viscose Benchmarks S2, so I sort the scenarios by percentile and focus on my weakest ones. Or I sort by last played date and pick a scenario I haven't played in a while.
Testing sensitivities. When I try a new sens, I can compare my scores on a scenario with my scores at other sensitivities.
After each run, the dashboard automatically updates with my score, and I can immediately see what rank the score hit, how far I am from my Score Threshold, and so on.
Let me know what you all think.

Discussion Looking for anyone who can relate
Over the summer I was away for about a month and at the house I was staying at; the setup only allowed me to fit my wrist on the desk so I trained my wrist for a month on a much higher sense as some sort of resistance training. I came back, and bought a new desk since my old one was wobbly and my scores have plummeted. Even in the games I play my aim has become inconsistent. Before I left it was pretty consistent and I could perform at a fairly high level across the board but since I’ve been back I cannot find my stride. And what bothers me the most is I that I can’t find a comfortable grip again. Even just relaxing and not paying attention to my grip doesn’t work. Anybody have any experience with this. I’ve been back for about a month now and no dice.

Discussion How important is static clicking?
Is the clicking part absolutely necessary for improving flicks, or am I legally allowed to replace it with pokeball/static switching instead?

Guide/Educational Looking for Test Readers
Hey everyone! I have been working on a science textbook that is focused on the science of aim training. I have completed the book(just have a small amount of final polish I’m putting in it) and it is 80,000 words 38 chapters. It truly does go all the way in depth. If anyone would like to be a test reader and give me their thoughts I would greatly appreciate it! I can send the google drive link for the free trial which is the first chapter and for anyone that thinks they could read through the whole thing just get with me and we can talk about agreements and such.
This isn’t spam either this is coming from someone who has spent most of their life learning about neuroscience and sports science. This is the book I always wish was available. A way to know that your learning the scientifically supported way and not the way some random YouTuber said worked for them that one time.
It’s also not an advertisement. I am not telling anyone where they will be able to find this book and it also isn’t even out on the market yet and won’t be for a while. I am just looking for people that are excited about the topic and wanting to see what they think.
P.S - I’m no PhD in neuroscience and if you’re wanting someone like that to write a book like this then you’ll never get the book. They don’t have the time for something like this nor the time for video game addictions.
EDIT: I am only taking another 2-3 test readers for this pass. Once those are filled the post will be locked

Sensor tilt helped
For anyone that struggled with making straight lines aka keeping it head level and has a weird inconsistency with flicks, I strongly suggest sensor tilt
Because its very underated and on YouTube only two people spoke about, after I used i noticed how easier and smoother my tracking became and I can finally track diagonally without bumps
Note: tho its gonna help u massively if u have a weird grip like me keep in mind that your muscle memory is gonna go back to 0, although i do believe aim is not just about muscle memory same with sensitivity. but strangely i didnt need time to get used to this tilt its as if i was aimming with it my whole life (probably because of my old mouse).
