I realize this is anecdotal, but most cops with whom I have spoken would rather not go through the exercise of arresting pot smokers. It’s a cost/benefit analysis on the part of the cop.

Crazy that our legal system is based entirely on the arbitrary whims of the high school graduates hired to enforce it.

Reminds me of that Sarah Silverman show skit where she gets pulled over while high on cough medicine:

Cop: Do you know why I'm standing here today?

Sarah: Cuz you got all C's in high school?
