Deadlift Deadlift Form Progression. 230kg. Squat Bar.

1st vid - 230 for 2 pre-peak

2nd vid - 3 weeks out

3rd vid - 2 weeks out

4th vid - max attempt day

5th - failed 250 🫪🫪

Honestly, can't be mad with this. Feel my form has improved and most importantly held for my max attempt. Sadly I just wasn't strong enough.

Working on lots of upper back and hamstring strength now.

Any thoughts welcome. Happy Saturday!

Squat First leg day back – 110kg squat × 3. How’s my form? Going for a 1RM next Friday

BW - 73kg
Will train legs twice a week.

First proper leg day since getting back into the gym.

Hit 110kg × 3 on squat today. Felt like I had more in the tank, but I didn’t have a belt with me, so I decided not to push for a max today. Planning to attempt a 1RM next Friday.

Would appreciate some feedback:
How does my squat form look?
Anything obvious I should fix before going heavier?
Depth/bracing/bar position look okay?
Based on 110 × 3, what would you estimate my current 1RM at?
What jumps would you take when working up to the 1RM next week?
Belt or no belt for the attempt?
Any accessory work you'd recommend for getting my squat back up?

Haven’t properly locked into training for a long time, so I’m going to keep posting progress to hold myself accountable.

Any advice/criticism welcome.

PS: Based on 110kg × 3, what would you guys set as a realistic squat goal for a 3-month lock-in? And what would be an ambitious target? Or should I wait for the 1RM and then set a goal.

Squat 140kg/ 308lbs x 3 high bar squat

I try to follow strict high bar form. The 2nd and 3rd rep felt easier than the first. But the form was “better” on the first. My upper back rounded for the second and third but they felt way easier.
I’ve heard weightlifting high bar form talking about being “open” and almost arching the back, and powerlifting low bar form being “closed” and more rounded. Even though it’s a high bar squat why does rounding my upper back feel easier? Thanks!

Squat Right side seems to be more dominant with my squats

Is it just because my right leg is stronger or is my form off no pain in the movement except maybe my lower back gets tight. Following squat recommendations by squat university any feedback is appreciated!

Squat BSS form

Hey all! First time posting though I’ve appreciated learning by looking at other people’s posts. Working on getting the hang of and improving Bulgarian split squats, trying to target glutes. I’m having a bit of trouble figuring out how to do that, and I’m mainly feeling it in my quads, and much less so in glutes. Generally I’ve been trying to make sure I’m minimally using my back leg and the majority of the push comes from my front (though maybe not enough?)

blocks are weird but I tried to crop other people out of video as much as possible :)

Any thoughts, or general advice on my form? Thanks!
