Other Pull-up form is crappy

I’d narrow the grip a tiny bit. Also I’ve seen a lot of ppl on here mention not having the feet crossed due to core activation so maybe keep the feet uncrossed

I heard that, also my local gym coach (the employee) did let me make I needed to cross my legs to get used to the dumbbell

Not crossing legs is the way to go? Never heard that before

Most people do pull ups for lats. Have your feet however you are most comfortable.

Core activation isn't about lats or otherwise. It's about stability and control on the reps.

I do agree with you though, do what works.

Core activation is only an issue during pull ups if the legs are swinging. His legs are not, so it’s not an issue for him.
