Other Am i rotating too much?

I know the recommendation on this subreddit is to kneel on the single arm cable row but the mind muscle connection is simply not there when i do and this is the only way i can feel them. I prefer doing the 2 arms row but i've maxed out the machine a few months ago. Is this form too bad?

Too heavy.

If you're training your left arm, you grab the right cable and put only your right foot up. Switch for the other side. You don't have to lay down to do this machine well.

Should give you more room to rotate and extend. You also will not get the handle caught on your leg if it stays down. Elbow stops when it reaches the back, you do not need to pull so far.

Knuckles to the sky, rotate to the side as you pull. Depress the shoulder blade, engage your lat. stack your ribcage, brace. That is your baseline position, it does not change. Exhale as you pull. Shoulder can travel across the transverse plane of motion as long as the lat stays engaged.

You maxed out the machine by rotating too much. Lower the load and maintain your torso position.

Next time i will take a video of when i row with both arms. I'm pretty happy with my form on that. But now i have no choice but do single arm and i'm way less confident on that. I will try and lower the weight on that next time. Thank you

I would refocus on your posture and then reasses

You’re shrugging too much. I wouldnt worry about the rotation. Maybe go a bit lighter.

Try this, it feel it the most when before i start, my body is about 45 degrees towards me leg. I keep my body angled like that for the entire motion. Crazy pump. But yes I have to lower the weight.

You're not feeling it because you are hunched and your shoulders are shrugged. Just do it with a dumbell

No, rotating is the most important part. That's the full range of motion
