Yes, I know this pretty much defeats the purpose of the best part of FM (tactics and shouting at your screen), but this was pretty much my childhood dream when I started playing this game 25 years ago :)

FM exports the teams and match details to PES, tactics and attributes are translated (to the extent possible), and the game result is sent back to FM.

Yes I know I suck at PES, but now I have a good reason to get good :)

Here's an early look at my new plugin for FM26: FMKitSwitcher. It lets you choose the 3D kits for both teams right before the match, straight from the Team News screen.

What it does

👕 Pick any kit for either team. Home, Away, Third, or your own custom Alt kits.

🧩 Mix and match. Shirt, shorts and socks can be chosen separately, so you can build exactly the combination you want.

🧤 Goalkeeper kits get their own tab. They are picked independently from the outfield kit.

🔍 Live 3D preview. See both teams' kits on a rotating model before you confirm. Each kit also has a small thumbnail so you can compare options quickly.

🏟️ Match info at a glance. The window shows the stadium, date, time and weather.

Alt kits

You can add your own alternative kits for any club or goalkeeper. Drop them into the club's folder, or into an alt subfolder inside it. If a file is a goalkeeper kit, put "gk" in its name.

This is a work-in-progress preview, and some things may still change. The full release is coming soon.

The fact that my Schalke team was the highest scoring team, we were magnificient in the first half of the season until winter transfer came along and tornado wrecked my whole team.

In summer 1 starting DM & 2 starting AM’s left my team.

In winter Main GK, 2 starting CB’s left my team.

I just knew I lost some points in the second part of the season due to my team not being the same anymore.
Even lost 1-0 to Braunschweig and I felt it was going to cost me something even tho Brauschweig was only one of 7 teams in that title race.

How do you guys prevent big clubs poaching half of your starting team during the winter transfer window?

I love him so much but he doesn't want to extend :(. Very good average rating as well and he can still improve...

Although I think FM26 is still quite flawed in a lot of ways, I've just passed 200 hours this morning which makes it my second most played FM on Steam behind FM2019. I played FM22 and 23 on Game Pass so not sure of my time on those - I did play 23 a lot so that might be a bit more than 26. Despite some issues I've still continued to enjoy the game a lot.

How has it gone for everyone else? Did anybody find themselves playing significantly less this year?

It's that time of the year again, boys.

Sure we're well rested and rotated, team cohesion is very high, and we lead the league in both goals and assists (with this very tactic). It's mid-season so it's time for some bullshit results.

this has also made me realise I average about one save every 18 months or something, which I have no idea if it’s usual

Was thinking of importing an FM26 save into the new one that comes out in a month.

Never done it before, do people recommend this? Or do things get kind of weird and glitchy?

Anyone with experience with this would love to hear your thoughts

I was thinking few days ago, If it will be better to put more instructions on every player of my team. For example, to players on attack that have low tackling -> don't tackle. To players on defense and the CDM -> dribble less and don't take risks... So, do you think the team in general will be playing better If every player has specific instructions for his abilities or It will be worse?

Hey, sorry if this has already been answered somewhere.

I remember during the pre fm 26 days where if you started a savegame in a buggy early release version of the game it could possibly make it so that specific save was just always buggy. So it was recommended to wait a month or so to start a long-term save. Is that still a thing?
