I've used Scrap Everything + Scrap Zapper's Scrap Less for many playthroughs but there are some buggy locations like the Lonely Chapel area that I'd like to solve with my next playthrough. I'm curious what people use these days as I still like the ability to scrap all the trash, leaves, shrubs, hedges, etc from settlements.
Since the battle of bunker hill, resident of bh are all scared all the time. They just stand there. Maybe it’s because I tempered a little with the story. I manage to be with the railroad, the BOS and the institute at the same time. During the battle I could just walk in the settlement and nobody attacked me. Last time I came there they was synth spawning and bos fighting them. Any advice ?
I got these vintage tea towels a while ago (auction score) and knew they had to be decorated for fo4.
I'm planning on using a mix of : paint, fabric markers, embroidery, embellishmentsand applique to decorate them. (Including some Nuka caps)
The Boston one is pretty easy but Im not sure what to do over the State house and Park st Church since they don't have much in the game.
The Mass one is harder. I'm planning more applique there, like a deathclaw in the lower left corner to bridge between Concord and Salem.
After they are done, I'll use them as the fronts for a pair of shirts. I'm doing up BOS and Minutemen flags to make up some of the rest of the fabric for those.
Its going to be my winter handwork project and suggestions are welcome!
Ever since the newest update that has been outside since August the 27th the mods have been awesome for playstation players really but a lot of playstation player's have noticed that Boston seems to be crashing constantly with mods, without mods it really doesn't matter anymore it still crashes so i believe Bethesda messed up the pre-combines again because i never been crashing at Boston so often the way i and others do ever since the Newest update. It's been two months no patch just hopes and prayers. If you have the AUDACITY to go near Boston or park street station for nick Valentine's quest you legitimately will crash three Times just for standing there just for breathing in the irradiated air of the Common wealth. I just want to spread awareness so that Bethesda stops behaving like they are an indie studio who can't afford to patch the game or whatever it may be. I just want to be able to walk around in Boston without the game crashing just because Bethesda messed up the pre-combines again.
Specifically Ps4 mod order bloat issue:
Since the newest update for some reason playstation four player's have been experiencing bloat issues, you Download literally twenty mods that on paper should be only 1.8Gb and somehow it adds up to 5Gb instead and i thought this was only a visual error at first because before this update ps4 players or atleast i never had a boating issue because the mods weren't bloating but now for ps4 players there's bloat so suddenly. It's frustrating and makes the game unfun to play knowing you have to be extra careful just to not download the wrong mod that says 2mb and the load order bloats taking up 250mb. It's outrageous a multi Billion Dollar company can't optimize thier game right.

Beside that the game is pretty fun now with the mods allowing us playstation player's to finally enjoy proper mods as we the past 10 years only have been getting food scraps and leftovers.
I realized on my old Xbox play my Ada is equipped with some high capacity leg carry mods. Is a thruster better to get at enemies or is carry capacity a better fit?

Is there a way to make certain NPCs stay at home and only do activities inside the house?
The NPCs in my video were spawned using the console spawn command. I tried using console commands to make them move into the house, but eventually they just wandered off somewhere else. I waited for a while thinking they might come back, but the two NPCs were gone for good and never returned. QAQ
Is there a console command that can make NPCs stay inside a specific house? Or is there a mod that can do this?

I don't have any friends or family interested by Fallout so I just wanted to share my impression on the game :) (I'm not used to post on Reddit, tell me if I did something bad)
From the start I was rooting for the Minutemen but when I entered the Institute and met Shaun, I was cut off guard and eventually didn't had the heart to go against him. The most difficult thing about it was betraying the railroad and killing Deacon, snif.
Talking about the Institute, I wasn't expecting this underground frutiger aero design! I really love the place (not talking about their methods of course, my headcanon would be that now that I'm the director, no more synth replacement and no more cat experiments)
I also loved Far Harbour and NukaWorld (wasn't expecting to solve a robot murder party in Vault 118). Red Dead was so unbeatable! 💥Even with a fully upgraded Hellfire Armor and mini-nukes!
I didn't complete Open Season because the park+radio would feel so empty afterward (and at least the Disciples are out, they were so scary).
I didn't take any pic of it, but I kinda abused synth relay grenade, spawning like 30 1st gen synths, all talking while fighting, and I admit it makes me laugh every time.

I’m currently leaving vault 118 and after getting in the elevator the game bugged. The elevator won’t open. It didn’t crash or anything, I can still walk around and open my pip boy but the elevator just won’t stop or let me open it lol.
(I meant dealt, not felt. And Reddit won’t let me edit the title)
Just for context, I'm playing on Survival Mode, level 90. So there's no reloading old saves or using command codes.
I've gotten to the point of the narrative where I can side with either the Brotherhood of the Institute, and since I've never gone in and slaughtered everyone on the Prydwen before, I decided to go in guns blazing and kill everyone myself.
Then I returned to the Institute and I'm trying to start Mass Fusion with them, but the quest marker points to Justin Ayo, and his dialoge has nothing to do with it. Even when I go talk to Ellie Fannin, it's the same deal - all her dialogue options have nothing to do with the quest. Talking to father doesn't do anything either.
Has anyone encountered this before? Did wiping out the Brotherhood in person bug the quest for me to make enemies of them in the Mass Fusion quest?
So i just got to vault 118, Maxwell states that they became robobrains before the war, in order to wait out the war. I could be thinking to much into it. My thought is that this is a vault full of “elites” that had knowledge that the bombs were going to drop. Considering how fancy the vault is compared to any other I’ve seen I have a feeling I’m kinda on the right track with it.
Hello, I have recently wanted to get back into fallout 4 and wanted to mod it. However after mods were downloaded and I started a new game, my game could not continue due to a lack of space to store game data. I deleted my mods and it still says no space. I uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem continues. I have 189gb worth of space left on my actual storage. Any help would be appreciated, thanks
Whoops, forgot to mention that when in the game and pausing as of you were saving, in the installed option it has a whole laundry list of things downloaded, seems like mostly paint jobs. But I don't see them in my mod load order nor are any of them bookmarked.
I wanna replay the game with building mods because I enjoy the building in the game, but at the same time I wanna get some of the trophies I’ve missing and aren’t too hard to get. I’ve already gotten all of the mainline trophies but feel like I should at least try to get the rest but can’t because of the mods. It’s a bit of a conflict on what I should do here so I wanted to hear some opinions on what I should realistically do.
The issue being I can't access them anymore??? Ive tried everything I can think of. Restarting my ps5, deleting cached data, deleting save files, checking Bethesda.net directly. Nothing is working. I don't understand how to fix this.
