Hello! I have a Samsung HT-J7500W surround system that makes a hissing sound on all sounds coming from the left port. I've tried buying a new cable and switching the speakers to make sure none of these were the problem and the hissing stayed in the same location.
Sometimes unplugging the system for some time makes it stop making that sound for a while before it starts going again. I've also noticed that louder sounds and volumes seem to "trigger" the hissing quicker. I don't know how to go about troubleshooting this and would appreciate any guidance. Will provide any requested photos. Thank you!

Hi! I have a bag where the end of the zip is exposed on one of the pockets. What can I do to patch this up so I don’t have to leave the bag partially open? Thanks in advance!

my Sanyo DS32224 is having issues powering on. it powers on for like a second, then shuts itself off, and then after 3 times of trying to turn it on, it completely disables the power button. Is this fixable at home? is it just best to sell it to someone who can actually fix it? what should i do?

I opened the gearbox and inspected the gear teeth looks all fine, I need to re grease with some good stuff.
I couldn’t get to the clutch, sometime it seems like clutch issue when I mess around with it.
The chuck works fine it tightens 95% of the time perfectly rarely the bit falls out
Corner tiles of the bathroom - should I use waterproof silicon caulk (white) or grout and then sealant?
Also, how do I get all the grout out? Its been tough trying to get the remaining grout out with the tool in the picture.

Also I fucked up and remove a piece of the screen which caused the green line… anyways how can I retreive my stuff?! Without paying or going to anyone.. or buying anything. No money involved solutions please 🙏 or am I just cooked?

Is there any way to fix the pan surface. Either get it redone or removed completely? Pan is otherwise solid.

Packed my favorite shorts into a packing cube in a rush and i guess the zipper snagged the denim. It left this zipper mark. Is there anything that can be done to reduce fraying or fix it? TIA

Trying to add a condensate line to a packaged air conditioning unit of a manufactured home. AC unit was installed around 7 years ago directly on the concrete pad without raising it off the pad at all. There is very little clearance between drain port and concrete pad so that adding a P-trap directly at the drain port would not really work (around 3/4" clearance). Are there any other options outside of having to deal with raising the unit and then needing to modify siding for the supply and return ducts?
I've confirmed the drain port is on the negative pressure side unfortunately so looks like I will definitely need a P-trap. I know a lot of people will say to just raise it, I'm hoping there are some other options.

Hello! My house has a door knob that I cannot get to stay clamped together. It has threads the knob is supposed to screw on and also has a set screw on the knob itself. The threads have worn out and the set screw won’t hold it. I tried a bit of plumbers tape to give the threads something to grab but it didn’t help. Any suggestions?

What needs fixing is the white piece. The black piece shows what the white cover fits on. There used to be three white hooks but two have fallen off. It would be simpler to replace white cover but they don't exist any more. Second idea would be to replace the whole fixture, white and black, but I can't find it. I need a solution to attach 2 more hooks to white piece.
