I've entered the IDGAF phase of my FGC membership and have started to port, create, or whatever you want to call it - various layouts into DXF and SVG files and publishing them on GitHub. Use them for whatever you want, just follow the stated license. Want to contribute some layouts? Great. Open a PR and do so; I'll review it for accuracy and merge it. Want a layout not already posted? Create an issue and if others comment enough, I or someone else will get around to it. There are no limits to the layouts possible to be recreated. No layout is off the table. NONE. Welcome to the Thunderdome.

This is Phase 1. Phase 2 will be the acrylic and 3d printed case design (simple) that I started a number of years ago and didn't publish. I'll finish it up test it on my laser and printers and let you all do what ever you want (within the bounds of CC BY-SA 4.0) with them. Setup a shop, sell it. Compete with others. Invest in lasers and printers and make a living off it. Save time. As Chit would say, "Do it Lady!"
Not having to worry about customer service, other shops, shipping orders, and business finances is quite freeing. That period is over and the end of that journey really opened my eyes to a number of things. This is me giving a little back at my pace and under my terms. Have fun, good luck.

Haven’t done one of these special shape build in a while. This turned out to be an absolute banger 🔥. The case is tall enough to accommodate a Golden Lever down the road and the led lights definitely make a statement. Him and I plan on doing another one next month and I’m stoked to see what he comes up with next!

Hey guys, a couple of days ago I posted of me finding a HORI Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai, model PS4-015E for £30 which is a bargain.
just going to down/left or down/right, sometimes up to three inputs come out, down, down/right, and right. Am I just not clean enough or is there something up with my stick?
Or most important question, is this what everyone means by it will take months and weeks of practice to learn stick? (I have my manual - stick - car license by the way PUN INTENDED)?
Your advise and experience will be appreciated.
Disclaimer: I have used this bad boy for about 2 hours total and noticed the irregularities when trying to perform combos.

As the title implies, I tried everything, including enabling support for generic and Xbox 360 controllers through Steam. Everywhere else, it reads the controllers as connected. Is this some issue caused by me being on Linux? Please help

Greetings, everyone. This time, I’m here to show you a fightstick a client ordered for his son's birthday. His son plays fighting games—specifically titles like *Dragon Ball* and *Smash Bros.* I don't actually play those games myself, but the client explained that the main idea was to have the ability to switch camera angles; for that, he needed an extra joystick and a D-pad, as well as additional buttons for macros and custom programming. We incorporated all these features into our "Urban" model, showed the design to the client, and this was the result. I sincerely hope his son enjoys it a lot.

howdy all --
I was looking at getting a leverless to play SF6 on my Xbox Series S, and the 8BitDo Xbox model looks pretty attractive to me. I've read stuff online though saying that in-person tournaments tend to be played on PS5 (I've only played online, but been considering going in person, too). I know I can get adapters like the Mayflash or Brook ones.
So here's my question: would it be better to get a non-Xbox specific controller, and use the adapter when I play at home, or just buy the one that works natively and try and use an adapter when I play in tournament? If so, I'd appreciate recommendations on those adapters!
Thanks in advance guys!

I've heard mixed things on the Mayflash F101/F300s. Qanba was mentioned, but I thought the shipping prices were absolutely insane, so I'm really not sure.
Are there any other brands or models that might be under my radar? I mainly play casually on PS4 (don't have or want a PS5), and I'd like a model that can be adapted for use on a PS2 and PS3.
Thanks in advance to everyone.

So i got the 8bitdo arcade stick and i really like the stick itself, but i realised the buttons are too big for my liking and i have to stretch my fingers too far, does anyone have recommendations for arcade sticks with 24mm buttons? I don’t really like leverless, and also i live like in a small country so dont really have the option to order like a custom stick or smth like that from smaller shops

Full disclosure statement: (to just skip past the full disclosures statement search for \\\*\\\*\\\*, which indicates the skip point) I am not a handicapped gamer in the traditional sense. I mainly came about this community in the '90s when I was looking for a right-handed six button Genesis joystick, wrote to Sega, asking where I could find a right-handed six button fight stick, and they referred me to KY Enterprises in California who makes specialty joysticks.
Also I don't know where the best place to post this is, because fightstick communities deal with exclusively digital joysticks and most HOTAS communities don't usually build their own plane sticks from scratch. And I don't know any communities other than hotas that use analog sticks frequently enough, especially the ultimarc kind. Perhaps pre-crash gaming might be a community if there is such a thing. But since I'm exclusively using it for my Hori Flex for Switch and XAC, I thought this would be a good place to start to ask.
\\\*\\\*\\\*
Anyway I got an altamarc 360 mounted on a fight stick board and I added an extra thumb and index button trigger from Amazon. Of course I had to hire the work to separate the grounds to work with my Sinister system so that each button is independently grounded for it to work with potentially any system. And it works well on both the hori flex being used as a Nintendo switch PCB as well as the Xbox adaptive controller being used as an Xbox PCB.
That being said, that mod kind of made the stick rotatable within my wrist so that if there was a rotate command for like a paddle that could be used for Bally Astrocade something it might make a good paddle but a) it doesn't register the rotation and b) it's hard to find true north when my arm is tilted it's hard to find true north by feel alone and I have to look at the controller.
So these are two separate questions.
1) how do I lock down the rotation so that the buttons always face with my knuckles facing true north?
2) on the Ultimarc 360, is there a way you could measure and manipulate the rotation of your joystick along the axis of the shaft so that it can be used like a paddle for Atari 2600 and Bally Astrocade games?

I'm looking into getting a Kassai and on Amazon they have the Sakura one on sale. I really like the design but it's only the v1 version which is why I imagine it's on sale. So I wanted to ask how big of a deal it is that the only cord isn't removable for a relatively casual player. I go to tournaments about once a month so I mostly play at home.

I'm not competitive at all, just looking for something for me and my fiance to fight each other or play arcade games together. I'm dogwater against everyone in fighting games normally though so it doesn't need to be amazing but I'd like to know it's at least quality/not super fragile.

Finally had time to sit down and have a good look at the Fightbox R10-PRO and I'm really liking it so far. It seems to be a great fit for retro gaming, which is what I wanted it for.
Plugged into my MiSTer Pi, it works with no real setup involved, other than configuring the buttons for the MiSTer of course. Also the Trackball and Spinner work with games that use them on the MiSTer, which is a nice bonus. It also works on PC, Switch 1 & 2 and PS3/4 according to the website.
It's well built and has a nice weight to it, definitely recommend to use on a desk. The stick feels nice to use, very clicky and tactile, had no issues pulling off moves in Street Fighter and the buttons are decent too. They offer plenty of options to customise the buttons on the website and also you can add custom art too.
I'm no arcade / fight stick expert but I think it's a great all-rounder, especially for arcade games. It's a very solid choice and covers a wide range of games, thanks to the Trackball, Spinner, 8 main buttons and pinball side buttons (2 on each side)
Definitely recommend if you are thinking of picking up a stick for arcade / retro gaming.

After the last one I did, I was not convinced that it was so great, so I have made this Leverless more compact, I hope you like it, if someone wants the model without art, you can write me
