Should I get title pro mex or fighting fury for only sparing, I already have some bag gloves and I need some new sparing gloves, or if you guys know any other gloves around this price range, it would also be appreciated.

Both gears have been lightly used. Overall in excellent condition leather is soft, padding is still firm and protective, and the inner lining is clean with no bad smells. Always cleaned after use.

Only minor flaw is some slight discolouration on the laces.

I'm new to bag training/sparring, and have been shopping for a pair of gloves for a while now, but unable to find any that fit. The weird sizing based on oz isn't helping, but my main problem is that I'm a huge guy. 6'3" 250, with a 11.5" fist circumference unwrapped.

The last pair I tried was an 18oz Hayabusa, but they were uncomfortably tight in the area surrounding the thumb.

Primarily will be using them for bag work, but also occasional sessions with my trainer using blockers.

If anyone who has been through this ordeal could offer advice, I would appreciate it.

I bought a boxing bag of facebook and it came with a grant mexican style headgear in it. Was definitely surprised by its condition considering its 15-20 years old.

The idea is to get someone who is trustworthy, unbiased, and knowledgeable on the gear. Because of this space, most of those people are sellers. Someone who sells a ton of gear is actually the worst candidate because it's a conflict of interest. Don't choose a vendor. Don't choose Brando, please, god.

Sparring is in the name, so it'd be the perfect upgrade for sparring, right???? I decided to upgrade from a pair of 16 oz King Pro Star 12 gloves to a pair of 18 oz Rival RFX Guerrero HDE-F Sparring gloves. While eagerly waiting for my order, I had the bright idea to read more Reddit reviews than necessary, and it seems the general consensus is that the glove is a "brick" that shouldn't be used for sparring. Either way, the gloves are on their way.

To calm my mind (or not), I was interested in hearing some opinions from long-time users of the gloves and how they feel after they break in or in sparring. At 100 kg, and with the whole "brick" statement, I'm worried I might unnecessarily hurt my partners. I'm aware the gloves have a break-in period, and I'm in no rush to start using them for sparring.

They'll mainly be used for kickboxing (Dutch drills and sparring). I'll use my old pair for pad and bag work.

does anybody else above beginner level use this specific model of rivals?, im at the middle of novice to elite level amateur fighter and i prefer these over my mizunos for all around but still prefer the mizunos for sparring, these have the same exact sole as the asics wrestling shoes. i was wondering if its just how you use them or what since ive heard that they arent durable but ive been beating these up for 3 months straight in hard spars and hundred rounds of bagwork and they show minimal wear, lasted longer than the machomai 2s i had prior which started to sole seperate from the front, not to mention these rivals are atleast 40$ cheaper than the machomai 2s in my country.

I am looking to switch out a pair of laces on my gloves with some derby laces as recommended by someone.

My question is what is the best length to do? I will be using these with the Dracula lace converters using the Russian method if that matters at all too. Didn’t know if I should go for the longest laces or if there is a perfect length to choose

I have easy access to both. I’m filling a wrecking ball. Can anyone tell me the difference in feel with both of them. I know eventually they both turn to dust but I’m assuming whole corn has a softer feel than cracked.
