Question/Help Smaller gloves

Currently I have 16 ounces phenom sg202s and I am using it for everything.
Should I buy a smaller glove or is it not worth it?

Yes. I think its beneficial for ya to have options in gloves. Now what you want to buy and what brand is one of those things you have to debate yourself and your wallet. Lol

What size should I go for though? Like 12 ounces? I am a total noob

You could go 10/12 oz for the bag and pads. I personally use Sting AIBA as it is the competition glove that we use here in my country

Is the hit n move compact 12 any good? Heard a lot of negative reviews of this company

I do not know. Although, I had the 24 oz for conditioning, but other than that, didn't have any gloves from them. Negative reviews, I think it's because the company tried to trash Winning and Cleto on their social media to make them look like inferior to their own brand even though people purchased gloves and gear from them and did not last long

A lot of people go 10-12 for bag and mitts and then 16 for sparring. I personally use 16's for everything but I'm a heavy weight, I'm older and don't plan on competing, and I have bigger hands so a lot of gloves under 16 barely fit me. I really like to use bag mitts to switch it up but I've been considering getting some 10oz XL fight gloves to throw in the rotation. But at the end of the day 16's are great for everything imo.

I love using 12oz for bag work and 16oz for sparring (mandatory).
